what i like about the Tea Party

You mean, this fringe group of 8 members who have no 'events' or 'projects' is a significant portion of the entire group of Tea Partiers to generalize them as anti-war?

I didn't suggest otherwise. You don't have to be violent to support bombing a country.

LOL at the tea party. Family has unfriended me when I walked their behinds up and down the avenues of their own prejudices and idiocy.

Comparing Chomsky to anything tea party related is an insult to chomsky. Comparatively Chomsky is a deity and i might be a religious zealot... or reasonably rational which is what to religious zealotry? hee hee

If there is one thing to like about the Tea Party it is their self admitted ignorance.

No need to draw it out... they just come out and say it. Like a preacher on street corner. Good luck mates.

Most Conservatives I know readily admit that we cannot afford to be in Iraq and Afghanistan any longer.

We cannot afford entitlements at the level we are providing them much longer.

Raising taxes is not the solution when we spend every dime we collect and more.

We have a spending problem that will stop one way or the other. Better we do something about the situation now than to continue spending like no tomorrow and have no choice later on when the government defaults.

Hey....you asked for an example, & I provided one. Don't sniff at me now, young fella.
Anyway, since the Tea Paritiers are more anti-tax & anti-big gov't than other politicians
of late, I'd say those traits would portend less war. But I make no predictions. The only
to really put a bull in the china shop would be to elect Libertarians. We would *** things up!

What a joy you must be at family gatherings!

Good question, especially considering that the tea party is nothing more than an astro-turf republican campaign tool financed by oil concerns.
Someone's been watching too much MSNBC. I prescribe a dose of Sean Hannity.
Caution though! Take him in small doses, lest you suffer a matter-antimatter explosion.

Agreed. Which is why we should immediately withdrawal. We should have never even went.

It would portend less war, or less social services. I hear about the lather far more often. But an even better way to portend less way, is to actually be against war. ;) It's kinda sad. 'We aren't anti-war because we are against war. We just can't afford it and don't want to pay for it.'

No argument here.
