How long did it take you to get a handle on that Audacity program? I still struggling with it for a year now. I must be doing something wrong.
Anglo concertina, bodhran, bass guitar, melodeon. (I did try tenor banjo a few years ago, but Mr.Gibson heard me play, came up on stage with me, personally scratched his name off my banjos machine-head and threatened to break all my fingers if I carried on!)
Guitar (mostly acoustic), some hammered dulcimer. I am starting to lust after a hang drum.
[/QUOTE]uote=Thirza Fallen;3364729]I would love to learn the hammered dulcimer. I love the Christian artist, Rich Mullins. He played that and others. Is it hard to find one and hard to learn?
Is it fiberglass? My first one was fiberglass as well, and was good to learn the basics on. I still find it has a lot to say, but could also see I was hitting its limitations. So I got a termite-hollowed out eucalyptus didge that came from Australia. Really great artwork on it too! This is my first Didge, or at least a picture of it from a website

Here's the specific one I just got. That's not me playing it in the video. He's just doing a demo with the one that's now mine. Once I got it and spent some time with it, it's incredible what you can do with it. It's harmonic layer is as loud as the drone, and does this really incredible harmonic-phasing sound, which when you layer vocals into it is amazing. Really puts the mind out there.

I don't play any at the moment, but I do want to learn percussion (drums, bongos, tamborines, etc.) and perhaps the Sitar or Shruti box.
How about you?
