It's well known that dogs love bacon, & love is good for dogs.
I asked @sunrise123 about it.....
th

My pup gets so much love. ^_^ In the form of other things mostly, but a rare bacon treat too. He gets more french fries than bacon.

Everything seems to cause cancer. I think we need to start looking into what we can eat to prevent cancer. Perhaps there's no danger if we just get the right vitamins and such?

A bunch of veggies, fruits, and herbs...people don't get rich off of it though.

Factory farm food can cause problems knowing the stuff they inject in the animals like certain kinds of hormones. But natural bacon is no problem. As in, raising your own farm and make your own bacon. Which is better for you and tastes better anyway.

Nope I don't have any pigs of my own and don't know how to make my own natural bacon but I've been to other people's houses who raised their own pigs and made their own bacon and it was delicious. :3

Eating homemade bacon, while drinking homemade orange juice as well as eating homemade eggs. Everything is better homemade! It's better for you and tastes better!

How exactly does one make.... "Homemade eggs"..... I would think some type of bird, reptile or Ornithorhynchus would be needed

Easy. By having your own chickens. Chickens raised on a normal farm will have different eggs than the ones raised on factory farms. The taste is different. I know because I had chickens before and the eggs were not the same as store bought eggs.

The processed meats" contain various preservatives to inhibit decompostion. These are the primary carcinogens. We have refrigeration now. The preservatives are not really necessary, but people have grown fond of the taste of preserved meats.
There are also carcinogenic chemicals like nitrosamines produced by certain cooking methods. These are the "suspected carcinogens" in fresh, unprocessed meats.

Must eat meat? Eat fresh meat, and don't singe it.

Soon we'll all be eating lab grown fake bacon. We will call it 'Baconite' or 'Bakeroni' or perhaps 'Facon'.

Processed anything is really bad. And artificial ingredients and sweeteners. And of course the meat itself doesn't cause cancer. It's best to buy meat from an actual farm.

I live somewhere that the terms 'turkey bacon' and 'beef bacon' are used more commonly than 'bacon', it's just ever so wrong. You don't build pavements out of cheese cement or roads out of cotton tarmac do you?
But I really like turkey bacon.
Beef bacon is merely OK.

You have lost the right to represent bacon on a public forum. Shameful. Will be advocating tofu burgers next...
I know just how far to stray from tradition without destroying it.
Turkey is cool. Tofu doesn't belong in the cured meat class.

You don't know what it is like to have beef bacon forced on you. Not as an option, just the only available supplement to an otherwise delightful meal.

You've never known hardship.

(and don't get me started on chicken sausages)

I wonder if lab grown bacon will bear the 'All Natural' stamp? I wonder if they will call it 'Organic'? Is it processed?
