Jesus is the Son of Man
I am very sure, as All of Christendom is, Jesus is the Son of Man, per the scripture you cited, and he is quoted as referring to himself over 80 times, "The Son of Man".
You do not have to convince me that Jesus was the Son of Man.
Baha'u'llah referred to Jesus as the Son of man in the passage below and my belief in and love for Jesus is largely based upon this passage.
I still cry when I read it.
“Know thou that when the Son of Man yielded up His breath to God, the whole creation wept with a great weeping. By sacrificing Himself, however, a fresh capacity was infused into all created things. Its evidences, as witnessed in all the peoples of the earth, are now manifest before thee. The deepest wisdom which the sages have uttered, the profoundest learning which any mind hath unfolded, the arts which the ablest hands have produced, the influence exerted by the most potent of rulers, are but manifestations of the quickening power released by His transcendent, His all-pervasive, and resplendent Spirit.
We testify that when He came into the world, He shed the splendor of His glory upon all created things. Through Him the leper recovered from the leprosy of perversity and ignorance. Through Him, the unchaste and wayward were healed. Through His power, born of Almighty God, the eyes of the blind were opened, and the soul of the sinner sanctified.
Leprosy may be interpreted as any veil that interveneth between man and the recognition of the Lord, his God. Whoso alloweth himself to be shut out from Him is indeed a leper, who shall not be remembered in the Kingdom of God, the Mighty, the All-Praised. We bear witness that through the power of the Word of God every leper was cleansed, every sickness was healed, every human infirmity was banished. He it is Who purified the world. Blessed is the man who, with a face beaming with light, hath turned towards Him.”
Gleanings From the Writings of Bahá’u’lláh, pp. 85-86
One of many examples:
(Here, Jesus forgives sins, noone but God has this authority, and the Jewish leaders know this, BUT once again he calls Himself The Son of Man)
Mark 2:10-11 But I want you to know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” So he said to the man, “I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home”
2nd example;
Jesus begins to tell his disciples the ultimate reason for his First Advent
Mark 8:31 He then began to teach them that the Son of Man must suffer many things and be rejected by the elders, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and that he must be killed and after three days rise again
3rd example of over 80 quotes from Jesus calling himself THE SON OF MAN:
Matthew 26:64-66
62 Then the high priest stood up and said to Jesus, “Are you not going to answer? What is this testimony that these men are bringing against you?” 63 But Jesus remained silent.
The high priest said to him, “I charge you under oath by the living God: Tell us if you are the Messiah, the Son of God."
64 “You have said so,” Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
You are preaching to the choir. I know that Jesus was the Son of Man, and I believe that as the return of Christ, Baha'u'llah was the return of the Son of man.
The same Jesus cannot return because nobody returns from heaven and comes back to earth.
That is aside for the fact tat Jesus said that His work was finished here and he as no more in the world:
((John 14:19, John 16:10, John 17:4, John 17:11, John 19:30)
(NOTE: This is more than Jesus simply claiming to be The messiah, but sitting at the right hand of God, making himself to be GOD)
Well, that is completely illogical. If Jesus was sitting at the right hand of God, which I believe is true, that means that Jesus is not God.
How can someone sit at their own right hand? Sitting at the right hand of God means that Jesus was close to God, as close as one can ever be.
Jesus was in the bosom of the Father (John 1:18), Jesus was not in His own bosom. That is logically impossible.
We know that Jesus cannot be God from many Bible verses, including the following. No man has ever seen God, but we know that many people saw Jesus, so Jesus cannot be God.
John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
Please read these and the one below and tell me who you believe they are referring to.
Matthew 24:23-28
Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe it. 24 For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. 25 See, I have told you beforehand.
It is obvious what those verses are referring to, men who claim to be Christ and are false. As Jesus knew that many men would come clain=ming to be Christ so that is why He said that. Indeed, many men have come claiming to be Christ with an intent to deceive.

That website has it wrong since Baha'ullah never claimed to be Jesus and in many passages He differentiated Himself from Jesus, stating that Jesus had announced the coming of Baha'u'llah.
“We, in truth, have sent Him Whom We aided with the Holy Spirit (Jesus Christ) that He may announce unto you this Light that hath shone forth from the horizon of the will of your Lord, the Most Exalted, the All-Glorious, and Whose signs have been revealed in the West. Set your faces towards Him (Bahá’u’lláh) on this Day which God hath exalted above all other days, and whereon the All-Merciful hath shed the splendour of His effulgent glory upon all who are in heaven and all who are on earth.”
Proclamation of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 18
“This is, truly, that which the Spirit of God (Jesus Christ) hath announced, when He came with truth unto you, He with Whom the Jewish doctors disputed, till at last they perpetrated what hath made the Holy Spirit to lament, and the tears of them that have near access to God to flow….”
Proclamation of Bahá’u’lláh, p. 19
Baha'u'llah never claimed to be Jesus Christ, He claimed to be the return of Christ with a
new name.
As the Bible says he would come with
a new name, so we know he would not be called Jesus.
Isaiah 62:2 And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
Revelation 2:17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 3:12-13 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
The
new name means that the return of Christ would be another man with a new name.
26 “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. 27 For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. 28 For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
I just love how accurate the New Testament is. Never did Jesus say that He was going to return as the Son of Man.
He only ever referred to the
coming of the Son of Man.
From looking at the context we know if Jesus was speaking about Himself or referring to another man.
Look carefully at Mark 8:38. Look at how the verse is separated by a semicolon and Jesus says “also” indicating that the Son of man is
someone other than Himself who would come
in the glory of his Father with the holy angels
Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
of him also, when he cometh means there is another man involved.
Look carefully at Luke 9:26. Look at how
Jesus separated Himself from the Son of man (ashamed of me, of him shall), and then Jesus said that the Son of man shall come in
his own glory and in His Father’s glory. Jesus did not say that the Son of man will come
in my glory.
Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father’s, and of the holy angels.
ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall means there is another man involved
