It sure would, but I would not be surprised if some atheists on this forum said otherwise.Would it be immoral for a married man to have sex outside of marriage without his wife's knowledge?

If they have casual sex the casual sex is immoral. If they have casual sex how many other major sins do they commit?
That's a bit "holier than thou," your statement that "I have morals." You have those things that YOU think are moral, but that not everybody agrees with. Of course, you must assume that you and only you have the correct morals because, I guess .... well, for whatever reason you suppose that.Hormonal birth control is more certain and accidents still happen. Not tossing a coin for HIV. Nope, not me. But then it isn't a question to me because I have morals.
Check the Abrahamic religions. God forbade it. No, you don't need to know why. What's morally wrong with casual sex?
For example, regardless the religion and lack thereof most people have a general consensus murder, abuse, and rape is wrong.
But casual sex?

It depends on the conditions of the marriage. Cheating is wrong, but in open relationships why should it be a problem?
Same thing that's wrong with masturbating all by yourself, wondering why your holy book says stupid things, and eating pork and shrimp -- God hates it, for reasons known only to himself. What's morally wrong with casual sex?

Is that it?It's more work to treat and easier to avoid. Also, it's embarrassing when in places of "liberty" like the US STDs become epidemic.
That is an inadequate reason.Check the Abrahamic religions. God forbade it. No, you don't need to know why.
But why is cheating wrong in a closed marriage? Especially if someone only wants part-time gay sex, once in a great while.
This statement is going to require an entire thread of its own, which I intend to start tomorrow. If I do it right (fat chance! ) I might start a debate for the ages.Check the Abrahamic religions. God forbade it. No, you don't need to know why.

It's now immoral to admit to having morals? That's a bit "holier than thou," your statement that "I have morals."
I'm sorry, I'm afraid it's going to bounce back to how atheists can't accept God's revelation because of...arrogance? Ignorance? Don't they go together? This statement is going to require an entire thread of its own, which I intend to start tomorrow. If I do it right (fat chance! ) I might start a debate for the ages.
The husband and wife have made an agreement. Breaking that agreement is wrong.
Consider, if one partner wants to play away, should not the other partner have equal freedom's or is the marriage build not only on deception but on hypocrisy too?
Unless hormonal birth control has a perfect success rate of 100% (which it doesn't), then it is not more effective than PrEP.No. Hormonal birth control is safer.
I didn't say I was. I only meant I have higher moral standards.

Crazy thing is that the Bible does not even condemn maturation. They just massively contort Onan's purported 'offense' to support that claim.Same thing that's wrong with masturbating all by yourself, wondering why your holy book says stupid things, and eating pork and shrimp -- God hates it, for reasons known only to himself.
It's your reasoning that is inadequate. Use your brain. God created it for you to use it.That is an inadequate reason.
