I only believe what I perceive with my 5 senses.
That’s why the word Faith was created, to convince people to believe what they cannot prove, the came the word Blasphemy if you lack faith.
Are people who believe in God Ill, no just misguided, he may exist as I have not seen him, but it’s not a result of physical or mental illness, usually it’s what they have been taught.
Are we born to believe no, if we were born with a God believing gene and we lacked that then yes.

My spouse has been identifying more openly as nonbinary. It makes sense in this case: while they are okay with feminine pronouns at times, they feel more comfortable with neither male nor female identifiers.
Since there is a social aspect to gender construction, and that has been binary in this culture, either "male" or "female," if a person doesn't feel comfortable socially with either identification whether due to biological or environmental factors, this person may decide to focus on neutrality as much as possible and eschew this paradigm as much as possible.
