What is nonbinary?

From the Snopes article pictured here:

"These videos are authentic. They show clips from a recurring event described by the U.K.-based cabaret company that runs it as "the baby cabaret rave experience." In a message on Instagram informing followers that it had set the account to private following the virality of the videos, the company, CABABABARAVE, said that the videos showed "events … specifically curated for the very young babies and parents… not for 'children of all ages' as implied."

Look at the crowd, children of all ages, are you defending this group really

I find this very insulting. Degenerate? I have been with my lover for 30 years. Seven years ago, he contracted Guillaine-Barre Syndrome, and was paralyzed from the neck down. He spent 8 1/2 months in hospital, during which time I ran to the hospital from work at both lunch and dinner to feed him (since he had no use of arms). In the last 6 years, I have been his care-giver, because he will never get all his body functions back. I'm 75, and he is 62. But we rely on one another, and care for one another.

You want "degenerate mentality?" Let me present it to you -- it is YOURS.
Still no one has answered the question.
If you dress in a sexually perverted provocative way at every gay event, every protest, every gathering.
How do you think as a group you will be perceived.
Don’t blame those who look on and see this, blame those who are setting a poor example for the community.

This is from 2022 and from 2020. You said:

This week? Numerous times?

You need to find multiple current reports of pole dancing in front of children to cover up for lie.

It's clear that you have a problem with truth and delusions.
Did you fail to see some of the dates are 2023, it has been a topic for 2 weeks.
Even if it was not 2023 which several of my posts were, has anything changed since 2020, no it’s gotten worse.
My issues are not with truth, it’s with the community ignoring truth.
As a part of the lies you have just shown why you don’t get it.

I know that a very famous Italian You-Tuber defines himself as non-binary.
Well...he dresses in an extravagant way and paints his own nails.

But as far as I know...he has a pretty girlfriend and I guess theirs is not a platonic relationship.
I really don't understand why a heterosexual male who has sex with a heterosexual woman, should be considered LGBT.
Do you understand what the "B" and "T" stand for?

Do you not think it is at all odd that the media has to go back all the way to last year in order to find a talking point that you claim is "always happening" or is "happening more often"?

It's almost as if these news sources go looking for specific instances of things they want to find, and then report them regardless of their proximity to current events. I wonder if that indicates that maybe, just maybe, they're not an accurate reflection of reality as much as they are an accurate reflection of the current obsessions of people like yourself.

Even if it was not 2023 which several of my posts were, has anything changed since 2020, no it’s gotten worse.
Cool. If it's gotten worse, you should be able to find even worse examples that are even more recent.

Can you do that? If you can't, then your claim that it's "gotten worse" obviously has no basis.

My issues are not with truth, it’s with the community ignoring truth.

From what I have read, the only lies apparent in this thread is the lie that these events are recent or are representative of recent events.

Do you think that everyone who isn't a Ken or Barbie doll is non-binary? Because we're all non-binary at that point. Actually, that's a criticism of the concept that has been made many times - that it essentially tends to reify gender roles. I've seen multiple examples of effeminate gay men calling themselves non-binary when they're just gay men, like Sam Smith and Jonathan from the new Queer Eye series, as if typical gay mannerisms all of a sudden mean you're not a man now.

It's kinda my only issue with all this. To me, progression is people caring less and less about gender roles, and sexuality when evaluating and judging people. My daughter has non-binary friends, and they are more than welcome in my house. I could care less about them being binary or non-binary, these particular people are nice, and treat my daughter well.

So eliminating the boxes of male and female is fine with me, but doing it by creating a new box called 'non-binary'...whilst completely understandable, and possibly a required short term step...doesn't look like real progression to be honest.

I get what you are saying. But here is the other side of binary. As binary goes between normal and not normal, I am not normal, but I reject that binary norm, because I am not not normal, I am just a variation.
So that is the other side of it. Those strong boxes of X and not X breaks down for complex humans.

Yep, I pretty much agree with all that. It's our habit of labelling that is unhelpful in this particular case I think. Rather than three groups (male, female and non-binary) we really have much more individualistic differences. I just think of it...much like sexuality...as more of a spectrum, albeit one on which some people are more static in their location that others.

I have a version of that. Go out in your kitchen and find all your spoons and now tell me which one is normal. The joke is that the word normal is one of those words, which is a first person evaluation and not empirical, yet apparently some people think they see what is normal.

Er, no. A bisexual man can still have relations with a woman, and a non-binary person with a penis can also still have relations with a woman.
Yes, but as far as I know, this person doesn't have sex with men. Just with a woman. So he's straight.

Non-binary: one who transgresses customary gender stereotypes. Being of the left-hand path persuasion, I approve of transgressing any stereotype instead of conforming to it. (As long as no one gets harmed.) :)

A person who doesn't identify specifically with being either male or female, or may vary between the two.
Honestly I think that in Mediterranean cultures the feminine and the masculine are very extreme notions.
I was raised to believe that a person who enjoys having sex with a woman and to be the active part is the emblem of masculinity, manliness, manhood, virility.

So what you do in bed defines who we are.
We are not separated from what we do in bed.

Non-binary, I guess was invented to make the feminine and the masculine more nuanced.
I will not be a part of this.
I don't accept this notion.
I am extremely proud of being raised in a Mediterranean culture, where masculine and feminine are perfectly defined.

Must be nice to be perfect.
