What is nonbinary?

Nonbinary means they don't conform to man/woman gender stereotype binary. They are not an exception to some rule, they just break the rules!
The person I was responding to does not believe binary is something that is applied to humans, that the term Bimodal applies to humans. However judging from your perspective, it seems to me if we just got rid of gender and the stereotypes associated with it and go with biology instead, seems to me that would solve all the problems; do you agree?

I think sex is useful for things such as having a female adult helping a young female with a “woman issue” such as period etc, also vice versa for males. Male doctor for male patient if they are there for something genital related. Etc.

Sex is also useful to know for dating. I would not want someone to tell me they are a woman and then I find out they have a penis.

Those are just two scenarios off the top of my head. I mean, male and female are great words for sex identification. They are pretty reliable except in extremely rare cases such as intersex.

Male and female to define gender though? They are meaningless word’s unless you can actually provide a concrete definition for each of them.

Well, there are those who would rather deflect dating and sex than seek it out.

What’s your point? Dating is a typical thing when forming romantic partnerships. Sex identity is useful to know when picking a partner.

No. I personally find the idea of non-disclosure useful in avoiding sexual advances. Your mileage may vary.
My original point was that sex identity is useful information to have. Male and female are definitive terms for that. Isn't it therefore obscuring the usefulness of those terms by allowing people with a penis to call themselves female and people with a vagina to call themselves male, or for people to proclaim they are neither male or female? It just creates more confusion where there needn't be any.

For example, what if people with brown hair wanted to identify as blondes? What if people with blonde hair wanted to identify as brunettes? The words blonde and brunettes become meaningless, because there would be no concrete definitions of those words, they just feel that they are blondes and brunettes, it's subjective you might say.

Yep. That would be useful information to know.
When you expect to find a love tunnel but jack in the box pops up, that's not a good surprise lol

Staying out my pants = biological non-disclosure.
When I say biology, I mean XX chromosomes instead of XY, a testosterone level of 15-25 instead of 900-1200, a pancreas instead of a uterus. Now what does any of that have to do with whatever you have in your pants?

It is still my private information that I should not be required to expose and or disclose to nosy people.
