Qur'an 17:23 said:And your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [so much as], "uff," and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word.

There is a lot more right with Islam than there is with its practitioners.
Which version though? I think the version that was practiced several centuries ago puts the current version to shame.I think it's the other way around, personally.

What is Right With Islam?
Serious question. I see so many threads critical of Islam. I'm curious what people think Islam gets right?
If my information is correct, Islam forbids to charge interests when lending money (Sharia compliant banking).
If this is true it is in my opinion very good.
Anything Islam does get right doesn't need Islam to get it right.
As compared to Christianity, I assume?Just seems more honest, really. It doesn't strike me as being nearly as passive aggressive.
