Yes. And used by Cornish people in referring to holidaymakers. Is an emmet and ant? You'd think I would know that being an entomologist, but that one was not in my vocabulary.

I learned at least two new things today. That's a good day.Yes. And used by Cornish people in referring to holidaymakers.
Just imagining the worst thing (but the garlic one is real). That is a new one on me. Is it called slug? Or do you kill them with it?
Well, yes -- I did enjoy that. Douche de louche is just about wonderful (and they're all real words -- I'd interpret it as meaning "rinsing out sordids").He was butchering that name with such brilliance.
I notice that some of the cheaper ice creams can freezer burn and there is a clear, gummy substance that separates out of them sometimes. I don't eat it often, but when I do, I like to buy the good stuff and leave the gum for Wrigley's or Hubba Bubba. It depends. For vanilla, vintage Breyer's is hard to beat. I used the word vintage because they used to make their ice cream without any gums. They even had a commercial that made fun of gums.
For Haagen-Daz I go for Vanilla Swiss Almond. For Ben and Jerry's it is Cherry Garcia.
My mother was big on garlic. More than I realized. Someone said something about how I would sometimes smell like garlic when we were in high school. Of course, it would have been more useful to learn about that then when I could have done something about it. But I do like garlic a lot. I would try it in ice cream.Just imagining the worst thing (but the garlic one is real).
I noticed that, but I wasn't sure if it was me that was mistaken. But my introduction to that flavor was in Mexican restaurants.Well, yes -- I did enjoy that. Douche de louche is just about wonderful (and they're all real words -- I'd interpret it as meaning "rinsing out sordids").
But now I have to confess, I screwed up, too: it's Spanish, not Italian as I claimed. Romance was always problematic for me, and that includes languages.
I thought he was awesome. I didn't want @Mestemia to ruin his brilliance by ever finding the correct name.Well, yes -- I did enjoy that. Douche de louche is just about wonderful (and they're all real words -- I'd interpret it as meaning "rinsing out sordids").

That is one that I like to enjoy. This is what the wife and I had last night. Ice cream doesn't get better for us:
You have a future creating Chopped baskets.Perhaps we should also consider the worst possible ice creams. No fair using something you would never eat, such as car tires, as an ingredient.
My first suggestion: Dill pickle chocolate chip.
I avoid trouble.

Damn the torpedoes....full speed astern!
I would sometimes smell like garlic
A little can go a long way. A lot can last an uncomfortably long time. When I was in graduate school, some of the guys were making a meal that called for 1 1/2 cloves of garlic. Not knowing what a clove was and not wanting to seem ignorant, the meal was made with 1 1/2 heads of garlic.
Yummy but only recommended when everyone indulges. Otherwise, all creatures dead and undead, will stay far far away.
Some say it is chocolate, others say vanilla and still others claim strawberry. There are many more flavors. I have even heard of pork ice cream (yes, as weird as that sounds). Which is the hands down, best flavor of ice cream in all the wide universe?
Another good flavor.Chocolate Chip Mint !
Another good flavor.
I know several people that do not like mint flavor in ice cream, but I enjoy it.

Yes. Also, at the end of a meal you are fairly full, so something light, refreshing and palate-cleansing is often just the thing, I find. Blackcurrant sorbet can also very good.I haven't soured on lemons and I agree with you. Sorbet is also less fattening. As a group, they add dimension to the choices in frozen dessert.
