What is wrong with believing in evolution?

What is wrong with believing in evolution?
I have no problems with "evolution" in the sense of change, like microevolution, adaptation, variation, even natural selection.

It is certainly obvious that many Christians believe in God and Jesus and in the theory of evolution, because they believe on a personal level. But from a logical level we begin to see contradictions for the theistic evolutionist.

The Theory of Evolution is, in epistemic terms, somewhat like a tree or a rock. It makes no difference to a tree, a rock, or the Theory of Evolution whether you believe in them. The actual issue isn't one of belief, but one of acceptance. Do you accept that the tree is real? Do you accept that the Theory of Evolution is true?

Because it's a wicked deception designed to keep people from the truth which could save them.

Nothing wrong in believing in evolution. Nothing wrong with making a mistake with this. If you err on either side of the fence, creation vs. evolution, just don't judge each other. God has already declared through prophets, if you err on this, there is no consequence.

I personally don't know about people evolution, who knows if we ever got inbred with aliens. However, I do believe snakes came from lizards (they lost their legs because they didn't use them)
