But are they corroborated? Are they anything more than hearsay and anecdote?

Well there are 2 things I have to say about that.
1) I frankly do not care if it is a choice or not. Being homosexual does not bring harm no matter what ole Yahweh would like you to think.
2) Medical science has shown it is not a choice.
Indeed it's choice.
Medical science can't be judge even they said there is little chance that some homosexual turn straight.
Some claim it's about 99.99%,I do believe this percentage don't represent global cases.
Anecdotal and uncorroborated is all. Some may be lying, some are self-delusion, etc.

Me neither.
But scientifically they are not backed-up or verified, whereas the WHO's studies are corroborated.

There's a scientific methodology which verifies things. That's why we trust the medical establishment when they prescribe medicine.
