What is Your Understanding of Oneness?

@OP

I don't have an understanding of oneness in the sense that I do not place any value or meaning in the term. As far as my understanding of what other people mean, I've rarely heard the same definition twice and every single one is unbearably vague and/or catchall.

and yet I am fully aware of my self during the event...

I see it more as a trick of the light, as it were, that our linear consciousness superimposes onto the experience afterwards. It's really an experience in multidimensional awareness that is squashed by or pigeon-holed by the limitations of our cognitive process. Since we cannot normally relate to being in more than one place at a time, we assume a homogeneous oneness.

"A gravitational singularity or spacetime singularity is a location where the quantities that are used to measure the gravitational field of a celestial body become infinite in a way that does not depend on the coordinate system."

That is where it all began.
Just a clarification. If "it" means our universe, that's "kosher", but we may well be a by-product of something much bigger that preceded the emergence of our universe.

Yes, what happened before 'inflation' will not be known in our times. Perhaps future generations will know.
Hopefully, although one cosmologist is optimistic that we might know in less than 10 years because of the studies of both the "afterglow" (radiation from the BB) and the Hadron Collider research.

That may be true but I am not sure of my 10 years. :D

What is Your Understanding of Oneness?
In my studies over the years I've come to the following understanding, which is not a conclusion but a stone in the path I am following -
A path is made by laying one stone at a time.

Please remember that Quantum Theory is a separate and more advanced discussion from what I'm posting here. I am speaking in the most basic terms.

Right now, as I understand reality, there are two states - "0", Know One/No One (Off/No) and "1", The One (On/Yes). I see these two states as good and evil, yin and yang, black and white. You get the idea.

I have not yet understood which state is "good" and which is "bad". I am presently leaning towards "0" being the bad/darkness/off and "1" being the good/light/on.

This raises an intriguing question which I am currently studying in an old book I am reading, The Lost Language of Symbolism (Volumes I & II) by Harold Bayley (1912).

In this book I've learned that our languages boil down to the same few and essential themes -

  1. Light/Sun/Fire
  2. Dark/Moon
  3. Great
  4. One/"I"/Eye (aye/yes)
  5. "A" (Alpha?)
  6. "O" (Omega?)
I am struggling to assemble the puzzle from these pieces. Perhaps others will read this book and provide a fresh perspective on it.

I'm sure you all recognize the implications here, however I must tell you that I came to this understanding completely separately from my understanding of computers and "The Matrix".

Unfortunately I am at a loss to further explain this epiphany because I am still on the path.

At this point in my peregrinations through occult literature "Oneness" means to me the state of light/on/The Eye (aye/yes).

Respectfully,

RRex :)

Wisdom, as mentioned in the other thread, is difficult for me. It's generally associated with negativity, the snake and such.

I'm still dealing with my RC roots. Very problematic. Irrational, I know, but problematic nonetheless.

Briefly off-topic, is that you in that picture? You look like Jesus!

If you mean Roman Catholic, I know what you mean, was heavily raised Christian... Takes ages to understand the theology placed upon you. :)
