What Keeps You Going?

We all have good, bad, and neutral experiences. The most common factor in all of them is that they eventually pass.

When the going gets toughest, though, what keeps you going? What are the reasons you push through even when life seems to be at its most difficult?

Although I can't really explain it, I'm at my best when things look bleak, and the adrenaline kicks in and I have this inner Winston Churchill which comes out.

The one thing that keeps my heart beating is the hope that one day the world will awaken and start loving one another.

I feel just so sad seeing people have no feeling, just dropping bombs on one another, committing genocide and killing the innocent. It’s a madness. We are all one human family. We need to make each other happy, feed the poor and look out for each other.

I know that one day our innate goodness will surface and peace will reign.

So I do whatever I can to spread love and that we are all one believing that light always defeats darkness.

I ponder how common that is. For example, it seems that at funerals there's always this one person who steps up to the the plate and becomes the rock in which everyone else leans on for a couple of weeks. (In my experience and observation)

Personally, lots of things. My Guru taught the affirmation 'I'm all right right now." That covers most of it. When it didn't, sadly I had to lean on my dear wife. Many folks don't know how they'll cope for lack of experience.

You could certainly do a lot worse than that! I wish you the best with your efforts.
