What Keeps You Going?

He's certainly a lover.
That is good to hear. ;) I don't know about my new would be boyfriend who says he loves me since I have not met him in person yet, but we know each other's life stories since we have talked so much on the phone. But he is either going to be my boyfriend or not, then my husband, and I should know that fairly soon.

I love animals and seeing one brings me such joy.
Whenever I am depressed or anxious, I just go looking for a cat or cats, and I don't have to go very far to find one or two, since I have eight. Below are Ellie and Nova sleeping side by side on my bed, which is now the sofa.

Nothing my eye, Something for sure
Other people in my life keep me going. That and the will to never quit. Books! And trying to learn new things everyday. I enjoy the mystery of life as well as to where we came from, and where we are going. Fighting snow storms in Buffalo keeps me going to. Lol. Go Bills!

All you need is love.
We all have good, bad, and neutral experiences. The most common factor in all of them is that they eventually pass.

When the going gets toughest, though, what keeps you going? What are the reasons you push through even when life seems to be at its most difficult?

My husband and my children, as well as knowing that I can help others find peace and closure following the death of a loved one.

My goal is to leave the world having made a positive dent :)

Honestly, I am not entirely sure.

Sometimes it seems to be a memory of kindness or love. Sometimes pride or anger. Very often in the past it was the simple certainty that nothing that hurts me can last quite forever.

I guess that it is mostly longing for better times.

What keeps me going? The knowledge that what I won't do for myself is not likely to be done for me by anyone else -- and I'm not ready to depart yet.

You know, I think the person I would most like to ask this question of is Volodymyr Zelenskyy. This is a man, leading his country in a fight against a superior power -- and doing so in a way that I think would not be unfairly compared to Winston Churchill in WWII. It is hard to know where such "true grit" really comes from. But this man has it, in abundance.

Good coffee and knowing I'd be bored witless doing nothing.

The one thing that keeps my heart beating is the hope that one day the world will awaken and start loving one another................................
HOPE is a good word, and biblical hope is the one day (a millennial-long thousand-year day) the world of righteous people will awaken because of loving one another as Jesus said at John 13:34-35 with self-sacrificing love for others.
I like hearing a definition of hope as Hold On Pain Ends.
This is a reason why we are all invited to pray to God for Jesus to come ! - Rev. 22:20
Come and bring ' healing ' to earth's nations - Revelation 22:2
