What practical advice might you give to people regarding coronavirus?

Given that stores are often out of many supplies what might you do?

I see many hand soaps are out but there are antibacterial soaps that are around. Dial sells antibacterial soap and labeled such.

Even dollar stores might be out of hand soap but have hand acne soap in another section.

You can make your own hand sanitizer and there are recipes on line.

There are diets that promote better immunity. Eat less sugar and more citrus, tart cherry, ginger to name a few

and Hope in God!

Or you can cut to the chase and use rubbing alcohol as soap. They even took the paper towels.

Stay at home.
If you have to go out, do social distancing. After touching anything, keep your hands away from your face. Wash your hands a ton when you arrive home.

when someone comes within ten feet of you, cough.
I found this tactic most useful in Walmart

And there is the comedy factor...

Reminds me of a joke a heard:

- Corona virus causes diarrhea
- Really?
- Yes, just cough in a store and ten people will s**t their pants

If you have plants like lavender or rosemary in the Garden use them.

The same as aloe.

Everyone used to have this medical pharmacopeia in the old days.

Follow medical advice besides the common advice, a doctor I trust said to take supplements with at least some evidence of effectiveness such as zinc, vitamin c, vitamin d and perhaps E.

Relax.

Continue to exercise, garden and other activities.

Help others especially those who are frail and homebound.

Relax.

it is folk remedy, it may be wrong, what is dangerous about it?
That it doesn't work and may prevent people from using something that does.

Not to be a nazi, but unless you want to provide a link to back up your claim, you're post is a rule violation

Im way too busy to go get a link to prove you wrong.

A warning: a lot of the hand sanitizer recipes that you'll find online are useless.

Otherwise, good OP.
