Definitely one gets the sense that voting has little to do with anything reported about Jesus, has little to do with anything other than partisan allegiance.

Yep, and one thing I did several months ago that questioned that approach is that I took a bunch of statements from Trump but substituted Jesus name as being the author, and then I took what Trump has sometimes done and assigned those actions to Jesus, and here's the response I got back in return: [crickets].
