What type of music?

Mostly classic rock like AC/DC, Cinderella, or something. As far as metal goes (pardon if it's not your definition of metal :D ), I like some Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, and Alice in Chains.

I'lll listen to pretty much anything with a good beat. I can't handle rap though, and country for that matter.

It makes me feel great to listen to a song and it just changes your entire mood, so I'm mostly listening to what feels right at the time.

I listen to Grunge, Sludgecore, Post Rock, Alt Rock, Jazz, Fusion, New Age, The Dead,
Progressive Rock, Reggae and Dub! :)

Grunge,Sludgecore both pump me p and get my adrenaline and anger going, the rest merely relax my mind and ease up the day.

i listen to all kinds...

lots of american roots-influenced rock. country-rock, folk-rock. it's good stuff.

i listen to some religious music too. nashids, hip-hop, hymns, reggae.

music brings feelings and ideas to light that just saying things would not. :)

I enjoy most forms of music at times.
Though the only non-metal music I have in my collection is basically "Jewel".

I love 80's thrash metal. Death metal. and Black metal{especially synth black metal}.
Bands such as:
Dimmu Borgir, Cradle of Filth, Deicide, Morbid Angel, Naglfar,Behemoth, Dissection, Old Mans Child, Nile, Testament, Megadeth, Overkill, Metallica, Forbidden, Ozzy Ozbourne, Alice Cooper, Evanescence, Iron Maiden, Cannibal Corpse, Vital Remains, Dismember, Sinister, Carcass, Motley Crue, Bathory, Marduk, Napalm Death, Sepultura, Emperor, and many more...

How do they make me feel? It depends. depends on HOW HEAVY and on Genre sometimes; sometimes I can listen to the most brutal death and black metal and get joy and enjoyment or ecstasy out of it and at other times I lsiten to it and it will bring my rage to surface and I can exorsise it as catharsis. It's different every time.

I listen to Alternative most of the time but love hearing new stuff frequently. I'd say on any given day I probably listen to several types of music. In the morning when my brain is in 1st gear it's classical or acoustic ballads or Billie Holiday type music. Later in the day is the high energy tune time. Then late, late at night it's the peaceful stuff again.

I'd like to get ahold of more electronic, synthesized music without lyrics......any suggestions would be cool! :)

Try Walter/Wendy Carlos, and (I just had a brain fart) the guy who did the soundtrack to "Cat People." (If I remember, I'll post it). My two personal faves are Rick Wakeman (although Rick uses vocals in most of his stuff), and Larry Fast (AKA "Synergy.")
