What will Kamala do about Illegal Immigrants coming into the US in mass and taking over jobs?

Do remarks like this ever serve any purpose in a political discussion? I doubt it.
Harris doesn't even belong in a political position. She is a pompous do nothing politician and is only interested in her career.

The problems you have with illegal/economic immigration over there, and here too, are largely the result of politically motivated curbs on migrant workers from the Reagan era. Workers being allowed to come and go was a win-win scenario; jobs locals didn’t want to do were filled, people from developing countries could earn some cash and return home, and they did. Now, people get there and stay put. Mass economic migration became an issue following the oil shocks of the 70s, and politicians in the 80s recognised it as a way to secure votes. The current mania is just the latest iteration of immigration panic, for the most part a problem created to get votes, and massively exaggerated to keep those votes coming in. The way people feel about immigration goes back even further. Northern European Protestant immigrants to the US wanted to keep out the Irish and Italians, Whites wanted to keep out non-whites, and so on, and so on. Every ethnic group other than enslaved peoples who ‘made it’ to the US has wanted to pull up the drawbridge and keep everyone else out since the year dot.

In the U.S. we have a welcoming immigration system that takes in immigrants each year. It's the enormous number that sneaks in that is the problem. The Left has been an enabler for whatever reason.

I have to ask then, why is Canada so strict on immigration policy? And why are they not seen in a negative light for not wanting a surge of American immigrants

I agree. Immigration is fine, illegal immigration being “okay” just seems odd to me and too uncontrolled

Do you mean North American immigrants? Is there a large number who want to move to Canada?

Canada apparently has a points system that seems to work ok, I don’t know much about it.

The point is, like any complex issue, trying to deal with the immediate symptoms will get you nowhere. The reasons for the border levels of immigration to the US from Central America can’t be resolved with a handful of knee-jerk responses. More people immigrate illegally to the US by plane, in any case, coming in legally and then just not leaving. The longer-term effects of wrong-headed policies, based on simplistic, unrealistic understandings of migration are the issue, not that of not having enough wall or guards.

People like to hear that someone is going to ‘do’ something. MAGA’s like the thrill of hearing about hordes and invasions, and hence buy into the notion that there are easy solutions - if only ‘someone’ would step up. It’s all transparent bollocks. Simple solutions to complex problems tend to lead to more entrenched problems.

Kamala Harris was never ”The Border Czar”, due to the fact that there has never been such a position in the US government. It’s a derogatory term created by MAGATs.

Ms. Harris was never given the assignment to guard the border. That has mainly been the responsibility of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and his department. Instead she was tasked to tamp down on ”the root causes” of high immigration across the southern border (left by tRump pre-COVID) which was higher than when Obama left office.
In her assignment, she was tasked (appropriately) with helping the economic situations in the southern countries from where most of the border crossing immigrants were coming from. To that end, she had set up several large business arrangements with major companies in the US and in Central and South American countries, to decrease the motivation behind (the root cause of) people fleeing from those nations to United States of America. :)

Here are Ms. Harris’ actual quotes regarding immigration.

Kamala Harris on Immigration

For those who don’t want to read it all; here are the paragraph headings…

  • We have to honor the promise made to DREAMers. (Jan 2021)
  • Fight for just & comprehensive immigration reform. (Jan 2021)
  • Hold companies liable for hiring non-citizens, not workers. (Aug 2019)
  • Kids whose parents crossed border are treated like criminals. (Jul 2019)
  • 2017: denounced Trump's refuges policy as "Muslim ban". (Jul 2019)
  • I disagreed with Obama on Secure Communities deportations. (Jun 2019)
  • Immediately reinstate DACA protection, including parents. (Jun 2019)

As usual, you twist the truth beyond reignition. There was a bipartisan agreement in Congress and Trump scuttled it because he didn't want Biden to get the credit. And that's a fact, Jack!

Your post is interesting in the context of Trump's &
other Magas' criticism of Harris.....it's all negative
perception, devoid of facts....
"she's a radical lunatic"
"she'll destroy the country in a year"
And even outright falsehoods.....
"totally against the Jewish people"
"couldn't pass her bar exams"

It's telling that criticism of Harris could be legit,
but instead it's bogus manipulation of low info
Maga types.
This is actually good. To sell such fear & loathing
is unlikely to appeal to voters on the fence.

Does anyone know Kamala’s stance on illegal immigrants?

Is this a concern? Why or why not?
If she's smart, she will revive Republican Senator Lankford's (KY) immigration reform bill.

“The border security bill will put a huge number of new enforcement tools in the hands of a future administration and push the current Administration to finally stop the illegal flow. The bill provides funding to build the wall, increase technology at the border, and add more detention beds, more agents, and more deportation flights. The border security bill ends the abuse of parole on our southwest border that has waived in over a million people. It dramatically changes our ambiguous asylum laws by conducting fast screenings at a higher standard of evidence, limited appeals, and fast deportation.
“New bars to asylum eligibility will stop the criminal cartels from exploiting our currently weak immigration laws. The bill also has new emergency authorities to shut down the border when the border is overrun, new hiring authorities to quickly increase officers, and new hearing authorities to quickly apply consequences for illegal crossings. It changes our border from catch and release to detain and deport.
