After Trump wins the election? Since that would prove definitively that even the impossible is bound to happen, I will take my rightful place as Emperor of the World.
I share the feeling but praying up a storm to make sure that faith is still working

Immediately? Nothing. But I will probably make moves to allow me to move out of the country in the next few years. I've been thinking of going to school in Ireland for a while. Might try online dating in New Zealand. IDK. Not even necessarily because Trump is in power or what will happen to this country if we get another 4 years of this. I would probably move because it will shatter any hope I have that this countries soul will ever be compatible with my soul. I've been told "then leave" by more than a few Tumpers and who am I to reject their wise advice?
Defunding the police has happened many times before; it was just called other things.
But why would anyone want to pay the police to provide services that can be done better and cheaper by others? Why wouldn't anyone want to do something to cut down the massive amounts of taxpayer money that end up in the payouts from lawsuits when cops break the rules?
Anyone not calling for the police to be defunded cares more about their personal ideology than fiscal conservatism.
I'm not sure what you mean about "Trump declaring himself king," but exactly what about the rest is crazy?
You really do have masked, unbadged police grabbing political dissidents off the street and throwing them into unmarked vans. You really do have camps where the authorities have rounded up "undesirables."

Police often get called for wellness checks and mental health crises. This work is better suited to mental health professionals than police, and those mental health professionals often don't cost anywhere near as much as cops do.
Other services that often fall under the umbrella of police departments, but can often be done cheaper and better by others:
- school crossing guards
- parking enforcement
- red light camera & photo radar ticketing
- traffic control
And that's without even getting into all the programs where we could spend a bit of money up front to save many times that much later on in reduced costs for policing and imprisonment.
I must still be missing the important stuff.
- An armed robber with hostages
- Someone breaking into your house
- Active mass shooter
- Confronting violent criminals
- Etcetera, Etcetera
Sure... keep on sending the police to those sorts of calls, but take away the responsibilities (and the funding to provide those services) that the police aren't that well-suited to provide.
... like collision investigation. I work in road safety, and I think it would be great if the people investigating collisions were primarily concerned with figuring out what factors caused the collision instead of primarily concerned with figuring out whether any of the drivers broke the law.
Edit: you do understand that "defund the police" means "reduce the amount of money we give to police" and generally not "don't give the police any money at all," right?

So you are saying 'defunding the police' is really a deceptive grossly overstated term. Kind of like terms like 'fascistic' and 'concentration camps' that you used with me before? When you use those terms it sounds to us centrists like you have come off the rails on a crazy train. Seriously.
This is what happened in my town. Very classy, these Trump detractors. Even, mostly, on the internet all I see is invective and name-calling of anyone who even remotely indicates any sort of support for him or anyone who does not agree with them. Not to mention the childish names he and supporters are called. Totally classless. Make no mistake, it happens here too. And these people represent what the US is?
