Unlikely scenario is not worth considering. Actually a more realistic difficult problem would be US support for Taiwan.

Yeah, that too.
This is more serious difficult problem considering the extreme contrast of David and Goliath scenario.
Considering the Putin loving cheek warming Extreme Republican love of Putin. US support remains uncertain, which leaves the door open for a real international tragedy.
You have to try an understand it is not only Ukraine, but Putin's Manifest Destiny desire to fulfill the Czarist/Russian Orthodox vision of the domination of Eastern Europe and Russian Asia.

That's how Israel started off. Without international support.
Israel took more territory they they wanted to keep so ended up giving some of it back.
So what would happen? I don't know but I wouldn't assume Israel would cease to exist. Maybe they would take the entire area and keep it this time.
I'd think Ukraine would probably end up being rebuilt by Russia instead of the US.
Rebuilt and ethnically cleansed.
