Just curious what you would do if you were 27 again, because that age is right around the corner for me.
Probably the same thing I did last time I was 27: wish I was 19 again.
What would you do if you were 19 again?

Start hitch-hiking and hopping freight trains and travel around the country working as a street musician.
That's if I already knew everything about how to get by on the road that I learned later on.

I've climbed a mountain in Wales. Mountains in Wales aren't mountains. Sometimes you can get a train up it.I’d go to Wales and climb a mountain, though maybe not in winter. I get winded walking up a small hill these days.
Not compared to Mt. Rainier. I hiked up there last summer.Mountains in Wales aren't mountains.

I visited Australia when I was about 40, and loved it. I also nearly moved there, but soon after I returned to the U.S., I got a good job in a big fine arts services company in Chicago, and wanted to stay with that long enough to learn from the experts. And OZ won't let you in above the age of 45 unless you're bringing a pile of money with you. (Which I understand and respect.) Also, it's hard to move 9 thousand miles away from family when they are getting on in years.I never made it to Australia, but back in my early 30s I went to New Zealand for an extended vacation and I really wanted to move there, but there were no jobs to be had in my field so I stayed in the U.S.
I would like to make it to Australia someday, because I could see myself living there, or in New Zealand, now that I don't need to depend upon work for income.
Not the hardest way to get to the summit but quite enjoyable - and the difference between confidence (and no doubt some ability/experience - the first) and not so much (the second):I used to be contemptuous of the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Now it’s my best hope of getting up there.
I’ve climbed the Sugarloaf (Pen Y Fal) twice, many years ago, but I just googled it, and Wiki call it a “hill just north of Abergavenny”. Bloody big hill imo.
I have a pile of money, and no family left, except an older brother who lives in another state, who I never see and rarely talk to, but I am not up for moving to another country right now. In fact, I do not even want to move at all.And OZ won't let you in above the age of 45 unless you're bringing a pile of money with you. (Which I understand and respect.) I guess you mean 'knowing what you know now' about the politics in this country. But if I were in my 20s again, and knew what I know, now, I'd be on the plane tomorrow.
Not me, which is why I don't go mountain-climbing, although I like to go hiking in the mountains. But then, who wants to die because one wanted to tempt fate?
