What's the WORST movie you've ever seen?

I don't watch many movies, but of the ones I've watched in recent memory that I loathed are "Big Wars" and "Resident Evil." In the former case, I finished because I was dumb enough to buy it...it was punishment for buying something without researching it. In the latter case, I shut it off pretty fast...no money was wasted there.

Some movies and whatnot are simply BAD.

My husband always tries to make me watch cheesy Doctor Who movies. The costumes are rediculous, the plots are long, convoluted and predictable, but it can be pretty funny to laugh at. They should have them on Mystery Science theater.

It`s a tie between "Mars Attacks" and Steve Martins "Pennies From Heaven."

I hated The Ring.
The previews for that look great.
Thanks for saving me the time.

Yeah, the ring was bad. But the grudge was ok. You have to understand Japanese foldklore to be scared though. Its not really an american horror film.

I can't remember the title of the worst movie I've ever seen. It was supposed to be about a cop who learns how to use a sword to kill this one japanese mob boss. I dunno, but IT SUCKED!!!!!!!!

Some movies are so bad they are good, and I enjoy watching them. But the WORST movie I ever sat through end to end ,absolutely heartbreakingly terrible , was Star Wars episode 2.THAT MOVIE SHOULD BE BURNED AND LUCAS DRAGGED THROUGH THE STREETS FOR THE SPORT OF ALL WHO HAVE BEEN BETRAYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:banghead3

I'm ok now.I didn't like episode 2.:tsk:

I didn't like episode 2 compared to the rest of them. But I still thought it was a good film over all. There were definitely parts that I hated, and parts that I loved. YODA!!!!!!

I never watched the Ring...and judging by the responses here I'm not missing anything lol. I did watch The Grudge with my Mother and actually liked it. That was a surprise to me :).

Are you all talking about the new hollywood version of the ring with Sarah Michelle Gellar? I didn't like that version either, but the original Japanese version Ju-On was pretty creepy.

EDIT: I meant the Grudge. Everyone was also posting about the Ring and the wires got crossed in my brain.

The Grudge is the US version of Ju-On with Sarah Michelle Gueller. I have a friend who saw both and he said he likes the Japanese version better, too.

The worst movie I have seen recently was the low-budget sequel to Starship Troopers. I loved the first one, but the second was just a drag. My friend and I watched it together this summer and just laughed our way through it. They even used an actress that was in the original Starship troopers to play a new character in this one. Seems a little ridiculous to me.
