You really need to ask? You who posts videos from SYL's channel and Anne Waters as if they are gospel.

I am not forced to pay Tommy or Anne money every year whether I like it or not. They are not going to imprison me if I don’t.

The BBC spout biased propaganda and expect me to pay for it!

I agree, BBC should stop the bias right wing agenda and get back to fair reporting.

Nobody has been imprisoned for only reporting

The Leftie infested BBC would not recognise fair reporting if it smacked them in the face with a wet fish.

What about all those aged 75 and over that will be flooding the courts when the TV detector vans have done their job?

That's a Tory policy not the BBC, cutting funding via the back door.

You can keep going on about leftie infected but the guests on headline programs like Today and Question Time and Andrew Marr indicate different.

Most of the radio 4 listeners are over 50 - by inference they will be mainly leavers and Tories.

I bet you were tempted to call them Gammons.

Leavers have given up on the BBC.

I am surprised that the BBC has refrained from referring to the over 75’s as gammons although they probably do under their breath.

The BBC said it was a good deal when they signed up to it. As we have found out, the previous government were not the best negotiators. The EU have told us that.

It is usually five Remainers/Remoaners to one Leaver on Question Time.

I leave the insults to the right wing.

If Borris Johnson intends to have a no deal Brexit then he might as well, on that historic day declare civil war in Northern Ireland.

A hard border with Ireland would mean cameras at the border which would be shot at by dissonant republicans, and they would have to be replaced by police who would be shot at by dissonant republicans, who would have to be replaced by soldiers and then we're back to the bad old days of the troubles. Crashing out of the EU would be an act of utmost stupidity.

BUT if Northern Ireland were governed by Ireland as well as the United Kingdom, then Ireland would have no need to impose EU rules over a secure European border since it would share territory with the UK. Ireland could take a seat at the Northern Ireland Executive to address matters of common interest to the Island of Ireland and both republicans and unionists could be persuaded to go back to the business of managing the actual affairs of the region.

This would seem to be a sensible way out of the Irish problem that would guarantee lasting peace in the region.

I guess we shall soon see whether Borris Johnson is going to be a clever Prime Minister or a very stupid one.

You forget that Ireland is in the eurozone..and it can easily be persuaded by another Eurozone country

There is a clause in the Good Friday Agreement that says something like "if there is sufficient demand for a poll then the people of Ireland must be given the chance to vote on unification" - I think a No Deal could well push the numbers in that direction.
That will be some very good news out of Brexit, to be fair, but it is not what most brexiteers want.
