It looks like UKIP could still be the answer.

They are not afraid to use Free speech instead of being Politically Correct.

Who's "they"? The Italian left is dead, in 4 years Marine Le Pen becomes the French President...
This EU will cease to exist sooner or later

Brussels; the EU; the people not accepting a disadvantageous deal that the walking catastrophe called the UK government calls 'the Chequers Deal'.

If the EU calls Chequers a bad deal then as the famous saying goes, “No deal is better than a bad deal” and we can walk away with our £40 billion in hand. Just think what we can use that money for instead of giving it to a protection racket.

And the UK's reputation in tatters. If Westminster walks away with £40bn of money it has already pledged towards various EU projects that it is still benefiting from who will trust us? What sort of relationship do you think other nations will want with a country that operates in such bad faith?

What happened to that famous saying "Negotiating a free trade deal with the EU will be easy"?

Yeah, Westminster can give it to the wealthy to stuff away in a tax haven where our economy won't benefit from it. Why on earth would we want to spend it on benefiting from various European projects or to remain part of a Single Market - that Quitlers insisted we would not be leaving prior to the referendum result - that allows us tariff-free trade with 27 other countries as well as giving us the attraction of non-EU countries' goods and services being able to expand into said market through us?

How is not accepting a disadvantageous deal "behaving like a gang"? Do you believe they owe us that or something?

Macron Merkel and Co do act like a gang but their popularity is at its lowest in their own countries and barnier is wilting, they've tried to be the big man but they know that once we're out, deal or no deal theres going to be more to follow, it's not if but when the eu either massively reforms or sinks.

That doesn't answer my question. "How is not accepting a disadvantageous deal "behaving like a gang"?"

How far will 40 bn go when the uk has earned a rep as a defaulter?

Poor credit rating, no loans at advantageous interest.

Is that Putins chrystal ball you are using?

Le pens party is a nothing in france noe... Interestingly, thats where it counts for her. With barely a word since may it seems she's lost it here.

Her popularity among far right Italian putinites doesnt help in any way

Threats, gangs use threats, there's been plenty, I agree that for them it's disadvantageous and totally understand their predicament but 40 billion is a strong bargaining tool.

Not really when if the uk defaults it will sink the country
Also remember, he eu owes the uk 45bn in EIB capital. Do you think he eu would be justified in withholding those funds if the uk dishonoured its promises?

Lets do the sums... Uk defaults on 40bn. Eu withholds 45 bn. Ehmm

We are still waiting for the Bank of England to divest its ECB Stakes. Before 2050, possibly.

There will be a deal where the 40 billion will be a part of a future trade deal, it will get paid but not how they would like.

Amazing how you brexiters all use the same crystal ball.

Promises have been made. If the UK breaks them it is at its own peril

You can thank the EU for one thing, unfortunately the rise of the far right is it,all because its so called leaders do not listen to the people, what an accomplishment after all the effort to defeat it they feed it.
