I welcome the triggering of article 50, because it will make possible the democratic socialist future that I and many others have struggled for all their lives. The Prime Minister will be aware that we have a trade deficit with the EU of over £60 billion a year and another deficit of about £20 billion a year on investments, income and remittances, and that we are paying more than £10 billion a year in our contribution to the EU budget. That is total of £90 billion—a huge sum that amounts roughly to about £6,000 a year for a family of four. Does that not put Britain in a very strong position in the negotiations, specifically about trade?

The woman is delusional, why should the EU care about the feet of a turncoat?

I wish someone would do an audit on what leaving the EU has cost us already.

We have lost a PM, could easily lose another.
May has spent at least 50% of her time negotiating, add in all the other ministers, their civil servants, travel costs, etc.
We will need thousands more border staff; thousands more immigration staff; thousands more civil servants to deal with all these 'trade agreements' that are going to come our way in April next year. Add in all the staff to do the jobs that we currently share with the EU.
Then all our goods will be travelling further; the ports of Hull, Newcastle, Felixstowe and Harwich are not facing the right way any more.
How much have we bunged Nissan, Toyota and the likes to stay in the UK - they'll soon be leaving though when the 'just in time' systems fall apart.

It's going great this Brexit.

It was a Leftie that said it and this was the PM’s response –

I think we are in a good position on the trade negotiations, because companies in other EU member states can see the benefits of trade with the United Kingdom. I believe that there will be real benefit to both sides as we negotiate a good trade deal for both of us.

And Johnson, Farage, Davies, Rees Mogg, etc. never said any such thing.
I don't look at this as left vs right, I am capable of independent thought...I try not to live in a bubble...unlike some

But if we stay we will do anything to rewrite the treaties.
Besides, Hungary has just got rid of the IMF...soon the Troika will be dethroned.

Indeed...but not if the price to pay is giving away our sovereignty

Try and what?
Hungry, like the uk, has not adopted the euro so really quite irrelevant to the euro.

Maybe you have not read the Maastricht treaty

She does strike me as being delusional. Why has she not been half as stubborn with the EU as she is being with her country?

There is still time to walk away when we get the right leader (a Leaver).
But, I could see this coming, why couldn't the anti-EU brigade?

Johnson, Davis, Raab are all leavers and they have all run away when they realise that one they want is a pink unicorn

I was disappointed with Raab when he took on the job after Davis resigned but he proved that he still had principles when he realised that the Remainers had stitched Davis up.

Once again, a Leaver blaming Remainers... it is so predictable, "It's not our fault"; "It's not the Brexit we wanted"; "We could have done better" (But didn't); blah, blah, blah.

The leaders of this Leave campaign will be despised for years to come in the chaos that is likely to follow.

But it's not the leavers fault...OF COURSE IT IS
