What's your current hairstyle?

Bonus question: Is it based on the natural texture of your hair, or did you specifically opt for it using a perm or other ways to alter the texture your hair naturally has?

Mine is currently an Afro. I've also never changed the natural texture of my hair.

I just woke up, and my hair is a reflection of that. Its quite messy.

Not at all. I usually wear it up like I have it now. I wash and condition it every 5 days, brush it out daily, and tie it up in a bun or throw a beanie on (unless it's raining, then I'll wear a baseball cap to keep the rain off my glasses).

Religious and modesty reasons. It's also a Mediaeval habit. There are also lots of styles and colours. It feels just as feminine as having long hair, too.

I sometimes use my dupattas to 'veil'... though my reason is comfort. They feel good around my head.

I have decided that having zero hair is a better look than looking balding!

I should use conditioner more often. I wash mine every other day unless I need more than that (e.g., when I spend enough time in the kitchen for the smell to get stuck in my hair).

One thing I've read recently is that, while brushing hair when it's wet is bad for straight hair, it's actually better than dry brushing for curly hair because it detangles it without the need to be aggressive and risk breakage. I'm still looking into that to see whether it's 100% correct, though.
