Just short. I used to have long hair back in the 80s and early 90s when I played guitar in a metal band back then. Now I just keep it simple and cut it short.

Vouthon's dad had a bit of an issue with the turban/veil and we had a bit of a deal about it. So I didn't wear one there in Scotland, which is why I wasn't wearing it that evening I got drunk. I usually wear it everyday, but for some occasions.
Yes I remember you mentioning that issue. But the Abbey trip wasn’t after a trip to Scotland, was it? I thought you looked rather fetching in your woolly hat with the hair flowing.

Yeah, it was earlier. Vouthon likes sometimes different styles :D

Oh I wish!

In fact I ran an MGB in the early 80s, before I went to Dubai, and then had 2 Mazda MX5s in succession, one in London and then one in Houston TX. In the States they called it the Miata. Pop-up headlights, just like Emma Peel’s Lotus Elan, in The Avengers. Great little cars.

The sculling boats were on my head, off and on, throughout the 90s.

Pop-up headlights made me geek out as a kid. They feel like such a distinctive souvenir from the '80s. :D

I've heard a lot of good things about Miatas, although I've never driven one myself. (I've never needed to drive.)

Like @SalixIncendium, I had to google what a sculling boat was. I learned something new today!

I had to google that. I've never heard of them before.
I don't have a picture of me carrying one, but I do have one of me in one, I think paddling down to the start at Worcester regatta. Let's see if I can attach it (sometimes the forum software won't accept my picture files). I had hair in those days.........

(P.S. that worked. I had to export it as a .PNG file, which evidently reduced the file size enough for the forum to accept it. Must remember that.)

What's your current hairstyle?

Bonus question: Is it based on the natural texture of your hair, or did you specifically opt for it using a perm or other ways to alter the texture your hair naturally has?

My hairstyle today is called "I tried", as in, I woke up early to go to the gym and didn't have time to do anything with my hair plus it's raining and the humidity doesn't help. I'll try to do better tomorrow :)

Hey, the exercise wins! :D

(I would bet you still maintain an elegant look whichever way the hair is, though!)

It's one option but pop culture tells me there are others available:
  • Move to a log cabin and wear plaid shirts.
  • Go offshore fishing but only during storms.
  • Promise your axe to a hobbit.
  • Live alone in a mountain and offer wise advice to travellers.
Thanks!

I'm going to do all of these, and I'll have the best beard ever!
