When will humans grow wings?

Not changing the subject.

But if evolution were to be a continuous process then due to the age of the Universe it would be probable that we would already have super-advanced species now capable of inter-galactic travel.

Where are the little green men though?

Your added requirements are unimportant and don't cover your previous errors. We are holding back from your Christian Question Ladder.

Yes you are, or at least trying to.

First aknowledge the fact that you do not understand the Theory of Evolution.
Then we can move on to other subjects.

I didn't realise I was a Christian or do you think all Creationists must ascribe to this Faith?

The term 'Christian Question Ladder' applies to the process you were attempting. It's another debate meme I am attempting to get 'officially' codified in the memeverse of the internet.

it doesn't matter if you are actually a Christian; note, however, that most creationists are. So statistically it is a good bet.

Are you not a Christian, then? Please state so clearly.

It's not really clear.. New Age could be anything. Like listing 'paganism'. Just a generic term for... something.

If you want to be clear, you could even say 'I am not a Christian'.

It's not a trick question.

.. this time.

I doubt you get New Age Christians although these days who knows...

(there is a section here called Christian-Wicca so I guess it could be possible)

Show me the math.

Violet.
We have created
airplanes, as wings,
cars, as lightning fast legs,
telephones, as instant telepathy devices,
movies, and my'thologies as Universes
Pantheons of Heroes existing and living out
far beyond the laws of our own.

We are the gods of our own adaption.
We adapt to and change with technology
very quickly.
We have changed the course of our Own Evolution,
and continue do so daily.

If we had let nature take it's Own course,
instead of Casting/forging our own
who knows what might have come about.
For better or worse in the end.
Who is to say which ways of adaption would (actually) bring about lives of superior greatness.
By whose terms would those judgements/evaluations be made?

Intelligence directly effects all models of human adaption.
And now technology as well.

With all the talk of how amazing evolution is I have yet to see a flying person.

Ok, so we have supposedly evolved by chance from the primordial soup - why have we stopped now though - how about a pair of wings or even a third arm?

Quite clearly evolution has stopped with the human being - the highest creature intended to exist on Earth.

I will believe in evolution over design/guidance when I see the first winged man.

Ever seen a person that can run as fast as a lion?
Ever seen a woman as strong as an ape?

Because of the lack of these abilities it is quite apparent that evolution is only a very small part of the whole event.

It's obvious you haven't got a clue as to how Evolution works.

We don't have wings because we as a particular species don't have a need for them Bats do. We don't.

We don't have a need to run as fast as a lion to catch our food. Technology has afforded us the ability to shoot our prey.

We don't have a need to be as strong as our ape cousins. Why would we. We don't compete for food, sex or territory the way they do.

Evolution doesn't stop. It is a continuous process governed by various mechanisms and can be affected by various situations such as environment.

You're aware of how large the universe is, right? And the space between the stars?

It's entirely possible that super intellgient aliens exist which we cannot detect.

You are wrong abut the main path of evolution however, it is NOT about progress, but about adaptation. Adaptations can go in any direction - forwards, backwards, or side ways. We(homo-spaiens) were NOT a pre-ordained outcome of evolution.

Curiosity Can You Live Forever 1of 3

As human beings we are limited to how much time we have in life. By taking care of our bodies with exercise and healthy eating, we can easily live up to 100 years, but our body will still slowly weaken if we like it or not. Even an accident or natural occurrence can change that at any time causing problems inside the body and out and possibly even death. Fortunately, with how science is progressing, that could all change.

Discovery Channel has a 1 hr TV special starring the Mythbuster's Adam Savage titled, Curiosity: Can You Live Forever, that show the possibilities the future holds with current technology and ideas existing today that may very well change how we live. For an hour, Adam is placed in different situations starting from present 2011 and ending around the 2900′s, making him the first man to reach 1000 yrs old. Along the way he meets complications as a normal human would, including how it all starts, being hit by a truck. From that point, Adam's life is in the hands of science and some amazing things are talked about as well as shown. Now while most things are a what if, it looks like any and everything is possible with the creativity of humans, including no longer having shorter lifespans and even having the ability to live forever if you so chose to. That can be a pretty tough choice and watching Curiosity may give you a glimpse of what can occur given that decision.
