Where are the remains of Jesus of Nazareth?

Wouldn't it be ironic if the good Christians helping Hitler work on the final solution had obliterated the last traces of Divine DNA?

Wrong. The Israelis are very, very good at record keeping concerning who descended from whom. One could very easily check the DNA from Mary's line to compare to whatever was supposedly the remains of Jesus.

And I suppose the DNA of Mary is readily available.

Wait, didn't she take off for Heaven, too?

ok....I didn't read the entire thread.....
did someone already point out ....an ascension ...with witnesses.

Let's go for that .....
Previous generations did NOT understand anything over their heads.
they really did believe heaven is directly in the clouds.
just a little too high up to see......

We now know better.
We have radar, telescopes, satellites,....man expeditions in orbit.

Heaven is not really up there......is it?

and the Carpenter said ...heaven is within you.

so maybe knowing where His remains are is moot.

Are you really going to argue that the lack of a specific, long-dead person's remains from over two-thousand years ago is a compelling argument for their bodily resurrection? This leads to rather obvious absurdity which I'm sure you well see.

I believe in the resurrection but not on the basis of such desperate argumentation. It's rare for remains to last for any prolonged amount of time, it requires specific conditions. Furthermore, why would the Romans have keep track of Jesus' body assuming for augment it had not resurrected?
The Christian never believe that what ascended was not the physical body but the glorious body. Right?
So, remains of the Jesus physical body should be looked into.
The possible solution is to investigate all the possible places where it is said Jesus went after the event of Crucifixion, if he ever died on the Cross. Then one place among such places could hint where his remains are buried.

Well the Gospels tell us that the last people to have custody of the remains of Jesus were Joseph of Arimathea and Nicodemus... there was time between the "burial" and when temple guards were set over the tomb and when His female followers were going to the tomb. Mary Magdalene announced the remains of Jesus were moved... The disciples didn't appear to check with Joseph of Arimathea to confirm where the remains were.
A good point.

Since there is not a DNA sample of Jesus on file, even if remains were recovered there is no way of proving that those remains belonged to Jesus.
Moot point, the OP is.
There is a possibility. Jesus got married, as it is said, so there could be his progeny, those who claim to be from his progeny their DNA would match with Jesus' DNA. The problem would be solved.
Not a moot point.

All the evidence we have is equally consistent with:
- his decomposed remains are somewhere in Judea.
The evidence fits slightly worse (but still decently) with:
- his remains aren't anywhere because he didn't literally exist.
Not necessarily true.
One could find out one internet which people claim that Jesus visited their land and lived with them after the event of crucifixion. The remains would be where he lived. He could not live in a hostile Roman/Jewish place, obviously, for fear of persecution and hanged again.

No, we believe that Jesus rose from the dead in the physical body.
