Where did you have your coffee this morning?

Or tea for our British members, or Postem for our Mormon members, or Bosco for our young at heart members, or sheep's blood for our Pagan members.

Here's where I had mine (I'm still having it. I didn't get up until almost 11:30 this morning):

Very nice! I thought that was a path until you said it was a river!

I had my first cup at 4 am in the dark, went back to bed and had the second cup around 8, watching the birds at the bird feeder.
I love watching the birds. You have a front row seat!

I love watching the hummingbirds out here. They always seem like they're in such a good mood: "Hey look!! There's a flower over there!!! Hey look!!! There's another one!!! Oh My God!!! There's another one!!!"

I tried posting a video From when I had lunch with a blue jay at the park a while ago, but the server can't handle it. :(

It only took a couple of days to get him to eat right out of my hand.

I also like watching humming birds.
And for the same reason.
thus the reason I have holly hocks and morning glories all about my place

I did that until I got married.
Wife did not think it very sanitary. (at least, that is the excuse she still to this day uses)
She even insists on scrubbing my cup at least once a month.
Which month? :D

Edit: I need to know because I may start cleaning mine too.

That's awesome. I usually only see jays when I go camping and it's been a long time. I love hummingbirds and have never gotten over the photo I wish I'd never seen of a praying mantis eating the brain out of a hummingbird. They're ugly insects already to me, and freak me out as much as grasshoppers do, but I never knew they were capable of such a horror.

Anyway - mostly finches at the feeder, I love finches. These are house finches and lesser goldfinches. Elsewhere, there are mourning doves, sparrows, wrens, mockingbirds, California towhees, phoebes, and the very loud parrots and parakeets.

Alone in a small storage facility, venturing outside for smoke breaks every now and then. K-cups with brown sugar.

The spot in the image reminds me of where I like to be "sometimes" - coffee brewed on an open fire, percolated, and drank from a Stanley thermos cup lid ... right about break of day.

I had the good intention to head for the porch swing, but still too humid. I retreated to my comfy chair.
