Where did you have your coffee this morning?

After a lifetime of at least one coffee everyday (and usually more), for some reason I stopped when I turned about 70. I may have a coffee a week now, but usually not even that. Usually, now, I settle for water -- cold water.

At Bergerac airport.
And the second coffee.
And the 3rd
Then to Bergerac city for a bite of lunch
Back to the airport and two more coffees but they won't count.

First coffee at 7:00 after yoga sitting on the edge of the bed trying to decide what to wear.

That done we went out for various touristy things with BIL

In a village we often travel through but never stop is a fairly new coffee house. We stopped. They import sacks and sacks to make various blends. I gave the owner details of my own blend... "Sorry, we have no Yemeni mocka but Ethiopian mocka is similar, will that be ok"

I said yes and really enjoyed a coffee that I've not not drank for almost 9 years.

On Friday morning, I went to Ediya Coffee with the manager of one of the two academies where I work, the latest assistant, and one of the other foreign teachers. I had an iced condensed milk cold brew latte in a glass. We had a great time.

This morning was shopping in Sarlat so we called in at our favourite patisserie, ordered 2 cafe noisette and sipped the hot, smooth, strong brew.

The word noisette is french for hazelnut. The coffee doesn't have nuts in it but it is called noisette because of the colour.

It's essentially an espresso with a small dash of milk
