Which is the Best Country For Me to Live?

I want to settle in a different country in the future. The things I am mostly looking for are good lifestyle facilities, beautiful locations, friendly and liberal-minded people and preferably a country where English is well-known by the natives. So what do you guys say? Thanks.

Besides being proficient in English, what other priorities are high on your list? It's difficult to make suggestions on the OP since we don't have much information about your priorities to start with.

I think any Western-European country will do. English will only get you so far though. I can imagine it will be necessary to learn the local language when you are looking for a job.

Good lifestyle facilities
Do you mean places like municipal swimming pools and public libraries? In this case, it's hard to specifically choose a country which excels in these areas, as most first-world countries have good lifestyle facilities depending on the area of living.

Beautiful locations
Again, dependent on a specific area of a country..

Friendly, English people
This rules out most Eastern European countries, Russia, generally Asia, Africa, and south America.

Based on your specifications and lack of a huge amount of more information, I would recommend the USA, Canada, Sweden, Australia, the Arabian Middle East, and Switzerland.

If you would like a more detailed review, please allow for more information.

Canada, Western Europe especially Scandinavian countries...

Keep in mind though, that It would be better or a requirement to learn another language for most of Europe unless you come over to the UK.

But honestly, I only have experience of living in Canada and UK. I prefer Canada, not because it's where I was born but because generally it's more friendly, more liberal, there's some amazing landscapes and laid back, compared to here. Avoid Quebec if you don't want to learn French though, perhaps some other Canadian members can recommend places in other provinces. The country is huge so I haven't been everywhere and only lived in Quebec.

Also with some of the places, I hope you don't mind cold climate during winter.

Sorry for the lack of information. For the aesthetics a country that is endowed with natural beauty, overall. I would prefer a place like 'Wisteria Lane' from 'Desperate Housewives', if I can afford it of course. To be more specific about people I would say friendly, liberal minded and not materialistic. It doesn't necessarily have to be a country whose official language is English, but the language is still widely used.

I live in Bangladesh. It is a very corrupted country. Although it is quite secular and pretty decent, my life here is a hell because of my comparatively more open standards of lifestyle.

All those who suggested US how are the people out there? I know they are friendly but IMHO they are materialistic. I maybe wrong though and I don't mean to demean/offend anyone.

I would also think Canada or one of the Scandinavian countries would be good. You'd have to learn another language for Scandinavia, though.

I'm here and I'm American.

LOL, that contradicts with your desire to live on Wisteria Lane doesn't it. No, it isn't materialistically minded people. You might get that impression from afar from TV and advertising. ALL the people I know make fun of materialistic people just like they do everywhere else. I don't know a single person who I would consider 'materialistic'. People understand what really matters for happiness.

Draupadi, I suggest not freezing your butt off for several months of the year unless you have experienced January in places like that....:D My suggestion places your butt in Hawaii in January:D

You may be seeing you'll get many different answers to your question. It's like asking people to suggest a movie or food for you.
