Can you tell me which religion is the one true religion and why you believe what you do?

Science is the true Religion. Replace God in every religious document and it is still workable with science.

More people believe in it than all the other religions combined. Even some of the religious people believe in it. It has great religious flip flops.

Look at all that Science(god) has done for the world.

Created Killer Bee's
Created imunizations(now we have super virus's "Gods fault")
Created bug killers(now we have super bug "Gods fault")
Science killed no one (I thought the Nazi's use science for bettering there killing methods but Hitler was religious)
Science killed no one (Nuclear bomb is natural isn't.)
Nuclear power creates energy (cherinuble Russia plant that blew up"bad spelling)
Antrax (that's natural isn't)

Etc.

Science is a religion and the scary part is that everyone believes how great it is and not wrong can come from it.

Why is every developed country having problems with weight. Science is trying to help. They didn't cause the problem (TV, Internet, Video games, Cars)

Science is a tool as is Religion as is Money 100% belief in a tool is never right it can always be used wrongly.

As long as people believe in science with out question it has the status of the #1 religion in the world.

Has anyone chosen their religion based on something more than "feelings"? Like say, an angel told you what to believe, a specific true miracle occured after praying to a specific God, etc...

To be honest, after I met my projection of what "god" is religion no longer seemed to be of much significance. There is not a lot religion cannot offer me that I don't already have.

Jesus said "You will know the truth and the truth will set you free" - John 8:32 Jesus prayed to God concerning his disciples "Santify them by means of the truth. Your word is truth" (John 17:17)
Ephesians 4:4,5 speaks of "One Lord, one [true] faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all persons.
There is only one true God, Jehovah. (John 17:3) God's Word the Bible is his revealed truth.
"All scripture is inspired of God and beneficial for teaching...for setting things straight." (2 Timothy 3:16,17)

Therefore, the true religion is the religion that truly believes and practices the truth taught by God in his word the Bible, and accepts Jesus Christ as the way of approach to God.

So your a Christian then? How did you find your faith?

Do you think your examples are reasonable?

1) Proselytizing is strictly forbidden on this forum.

Christ said "I am the way the truth and the life. No man comes to the Father, but by me." But unless you believe the Bible that statement is worthless to you, however if you can establish the Bible as a reliable document by archeological and philosophical evidence (as I believe it has been) then it follows you can accept the rest of the book.

One day I was befriended by a racoon who introduced me to the grass fairies behind my house.

I now live in my own little fantasy world.

No, it would be proof. There are many other understandable reasons for faith. I'm just wondering why you set the bar at undeniable (and really, rather ludicrous) proof.

Please do not put words in my mouth. I never asked for proof. If a angel talked to you and you didn't have a camera handy, how would you prove it? Even if someone had a picture or video footage people would assume it was fake anyway. I basically asked if anyone found their faith by means other then it just "felt" right.

Yes, I'm one of Jehovah's witnesses. I was invited to a kingdom hall by a family member who met the witnesses in their door to door ministry, and studied the Bible in my home with a witness minister.
This personal study convinced me of the Bible's inspiration and the Bible doctrines taught by Jehovah's Christian witnesses. The Bible encourages us to "Make sure of all things, hold fast to what is fine"(I Thessalonians 5:21)
To do this, we need to know what the Bible really teaches. (Acts 17:11) My study convinced me I have found the truth. Best wishes in your search.
