Do you take calling someone a racist lightly? I sure don’t. Because if you call people racists at the drop of a hat without proof it takes away from when we can and should legitimately, and with proof, call someone a racist. It detracts from the import and seriousness of the allegation to make it without actual proof. Perhaps you didn’t think of that. So, yes, I think the bar for calling someone should be as similarly high as is the seriousness of it being true.Do you require a criminal trial burden of proof before you form all opinions? Are you familiar with the "if it walks like a duck" test? Hey, sometimes if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, it isn't a duck... but if you see something that passes the duck test, it's generally fair to treat it as a duck until proven otherwise.
