Yet that is exactly what you do every time you present a Bible verse as supporting your claim....

Well, you're welcome to challenge it on that basis. But you don't believe the authority exists so you would be admitting God's existence, which you are surely loathe to do. You can always just use ad hominem, it's what most atheists do.

Faith based on fact and truth isn't blind faith. Those who believe in macroevolution are putting their faith in scientists' interpretation of the evidence. You beliefs are based on faith, too.

It's called critical thought and deductive reasoning, not faith. Science explains the process and is verifiable. It's not about "just taking their word for it" when you can examine the evidence for yourself.

You really should stop trying to dictate to others what they think, believe, feel, etc.
You royally suck at it.

The fact of the matter is you are guilty of that which you whine so much of atheists doing.

Why do you assume that he's an atheist? Christianity doesn't hold a monopoly on the concept of god. God isn't a pokemon, and your goat herders' book isn't a pokeball. Do you believe in The Koran, The Baghavad Gita, The Adi Granth, The Aqdas, and/or The Tipitaka? If not, then you too must be an atheist, right?

Sure, Christian scientists do exist, too.

Your theories are not all verifiable. Not hardly. The trouble with your critical thought and deductive reasoning is that your often wrong.

See the post below yours. You think God is an authority?

Unlike your perception and portrayal of god, science can be verified and applied. If you think science is also a matter of faith, then you need to take whatever technology you're using to connect to the internet and toss it out the window.

You're an atheist, too. Why aren't you defending yourself? You do, after all, reject the holy books of other religions just as he and others reject the holy book of your religion, and by your logic that makes someone an atheist, right?

Yeah, sure, whatever the majority agrees to. You must be right.

Mind addressing this, then?

I was waiting expectantly for a response, but you completely ignored it. That is not very nice.

"I am afraid that the burden of proof rests solely on your shoulders. After all, it is rather foolish for someone to point to any work of fiction and demand that I prove the characters within that work of fiction are not real."
