Who Invented The Trinity ?

Christian symbol of the Trinity is used to bring us above reason to a nonlinear experience. It serves as an exit point from the physical world of parts to the interrelated multidimensional world of consciousness. It is not possible to govern at the same time all the diverse systems of the universe with only one component so Christians show God as a Trinity. God is represented as the Father, the Creator and the all-pervading consciousness from which everything comes forth. He is revealed in human life by the Son, the individual consciousness and is forever at work in nature through the Holy Ghost.

Wow! That made about as much sense to me as the Nicene Creed. Strange that we couldn't get what we needed to know from the Bible.

katzpur thank you for your positive feedback, it is in the Bible. I think Jesus preached with parables because pure consciousness is above reason but not against it, if pure consciousness can first be translated into terms that the mind can grasp people will learn to sense what is expressed. Pure consciousness and reason are friends, not enemies so being open to new ideas which is one reason we are on this forum we are attracted to ideas and ultimately the truth. This attraction to truth is positive Jesus used it to heal and inspirer faith in his followers. His teaching in the manner of parables is very wise, not forceful because they cultivate wisdom. To some these allegories are the most appealing part of the Bible because in the computer age information can be purchased, but wisdom can’t be exchanged for wealth. These heart-felt stories about the integrity of life generate no debate or conscious effort to change the audience into a specific mold because the meaning doesn’t come all at once, but only after struggle and effort. Those who are ready to understand the deeper meaning of the parable will see the universal truth, while others will see something else depending on what layer of the mind they are functioning in.

Could you provide me with some pointers to premises and conclusions, please?

I apologize, soma. I wasn't trying to be rude. It's just that your post made no sense to me at all. When you said the doctrine of the Trinity is in the Bible, it brought this little piece to mind:

Jesus said, Whom do men say that I am?

And his disciples answered and said, Some say you are John the Baptist returned from the dead; others say Elias, or other of the old prophets.

And Jesus answered and said, But whom do you say that I am?

Peter answered and said, "Thou art the Logos, existing in the Father as His rationality and then, by an act of His will, being generated, in consideration of the various functions by which God is related to his creation, but only on the fact that Scripture speaks of a Father, and a Son, and a Holy Spirit, each member of the Trinity being coequal with every other member, and each acting inseparably with and interpenetrating every other member, with only an economic subordination within God, but causing no division which would make the substance no longer simple."

And Jesus answering, said, "What?"

It's not my intention to offend you, but believe God actually wants us to understand Him. I think we've made Him a lot more "unknowable" than He wants to be. He's our Father in Heaven -- not some impersonal substance. Of course we are not in a position to be able to fully comprehend Him. Our finite minds just can't grasp His greatness. But He gave us some pretty straightforward information about who He is and who His Son is and we've gone and turned that information into something that's about as understandable as the Federal Income Tax Code.

In Reality the infinite is undivided. It is one, but it has the ability to be infinite and finite so God is personal and abstract. The personal part is God the Son, the Christ consciousness in the finite that brings us back to life. In the first phase of evolution, the pure consciousness of God manifests itself in creation. God the Son starts the second phase of evolution by intentionally becoming subject to the limits of space and time so the Son's distinction from the Father starts the second phase of evolution. We can call this phase involution because by going into the infinite (in the finite) the Self reveals its union with the Father.
In a composition we can say that the Father is the subject matter, the Holy Ghost is the action and the Son is the intent. The masterpiece is the unity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. This is the Holy Trinity, and upon deep inquiry, we see The Holy Trinity trying to make sense of non-duality. This is a logical problem because the mind in time and space only knows duality, but when we say God is everything, we are saying God is one. The all-pervading consciousness of God is everywhere and is without duality, but it is not without relations.
