Who make Jesus a God?

Since Jesus didn’t say even one time clearly in the bible “I am a God”, then who makes him a God?

If he is a God or Son, why he started his ministry when he was about 30 years old only? Why he appeared only 2012 years back, why not 200000 years back? Why jesus said "Why do you call me good,No one is good--except God alone.(Mark 10:18)

Jesus was one ring in a long chain of prophets and messengers sent by God to people and when people make him a god or a son, God sent his messenger Mohamed to correct the way with a book called Quran in which not even one letter changed on it since more than 1400 years not like the bible with different versions.

The question is who makes Jesus a god?

The question is who makes Jesus a god?

Politics made Jesus God as well as guiding the masses on how to interpret a trinity formula out of the bible making Jesus equal with God. Soon after the council of Nicaea they banished anyone who thought otherwise and burned any relevant literature that countered the creed.

Nicene Creed - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, begotten of the Father [the only-begotten; that is, of the essence of the Father, God of God], Light of Light, very God of very God, begotten, not made, being of one substance with the Father;

the bible does not say Jesus is God....it refers to him as the son of God over and over.

It is people who claim he is God...specifically it began when Rome made christianity its state religion.... the Romans liked to worship gods, so they turned Jesus into a god to make it more palatable to the pagan worshipers. And they turned the pagan December 25th saturnalia celebration of the 'birth of sun' in the 'birth of the Son' of God, Jesus Christ.

We Baha'is believe the attributes of God were fully reflected in the Mirror of Jesus...so He was not Himself God. A mirror can reflect the sun is not itself the sun. Jesus we believe was not the only Mirror to reflect God's attributes. So God has sent Messengers and Prophets 200,000 yeasr ago and will continue to send Them.

When Jesus appeared a few millenia ago He was probably the closest people at that time had to what God was like..hence they mistook the Mirror for the Sun.

Christianity isn't for everyone.

Who, Thor? That's the point, people believe in different deities.

I believe Thor was just a bit player. Odin was the leader of the gods.

I believe also they take credit for creating humans (as opposed to themselves) from dust but that does not mean that they were responsible for the original creation which was performed by Yahweh.

I believe we have people who create people today in a sense. Sometimes a child is created in a test tube.

No-one made Jesus God. He is God by His nature.

I believe it was planning. He could have started when He was 80 if He wished.

I believe as my pastor taught that God has a plan for progressive revelation. I believe 200,000 years ago may have been a diffeent cycle entirely. I believe Jesus fulfilled prophecy of His coming at the very time that it was prophesied that He would come.

Because He was revealing that He is God.

I believe this concept is false; God does not contradict Himself.

This does not alter the efficacy of the Bible.

I believe God does.

If i remember correct on my thread you said that God and Humans have different natures. That they aren't two natures... aren't you contradicting yourself here?

I don't believe so. Jesus is known by his two natures and one of them is God. I believe this comes down to the very question of what makes a person. I believe a person is the melding of flesh and spirit. However I believe one does not see a person as flesh without a spirit or spirit without flesh.

You can't be Human and God on the same time. Its like saying to be a animal and human at the same time it makes no sense. God has certain attributes and traits that humans do not have so everything that does not have these attributes or traits cannot be god since they do not leave him if they do leave him hes no longer god.

I believe that this simply is your belief and that you have no supporting evidence for it.

I believe this is not a correct analogy, I believe both humans and animals are flesh. I believe God and humanity are spirit and flesh. I believe one may not make flesh analogous to spirit because they do not have like attributes.

I believe if yu were talking abaout humans as just being flesh that would be so but a living soul/person is flesh and spirit and the spirit has spiritual aspects. I beleive the Spirit of God in Jesus shares all the attributes of the Spirit of God outside His body.

I find it particularly irritating that this bit of disinformation is constantly promulgated. This should put this to rest (from a biblical point of view):

Revelation of John 21:6: And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Revelation of John 21:7: He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

The question is who makes Jesus a god?

I would say himself. He never required elections. ;)

Well why don't you provide evidence?

Again i am using logic and reasoning that is my evidence in this case. If we had to define god we would use attributes so anything that does not have these attributes can automatically not be god.

I believe this is not a correct analogy, I believe both humans and animals are flesh. I believe God and humanity are spirit and flesh. I believe one may not make flesh analogous to spirit because they do not have like attributes.
Ok well let me try to ask you again how can God be Flesh when hes traits and attributes contradicts being flesh? Flesh is limited therefore he cannot be flesh even if he became flesh then this flesh wouldn't be limited since its god we are speaking off. If he becomes limited the trait of being unlimited is destroyed and therefore he is no longer god. So either he is a human with no limitation or either is not human.

I believe if yu were talking abaout humans as just being flesh that would be so but a living soul/person is flesh and spirit and the spirit has spiritual aspects. I beleive the Spirit of God in Jesus shares all the attributes of the Spirit of God outside His body.
This just made no sense.

Again, Revelation 21:6 is the Father speaking, not Jesus.

And Revelation 22:13 is an Angel speaking a message from the Father.

The Speaker Confusion problem is rife for those using Revelation to promote the Trinity.

You are incorrect. To put my original verse into context, the answer as to who the speaker is can be found in the following verses.

Revelation of John 1:8: I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
Revelation of John 1:9: I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Revelation of John 1:10: I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,

Revelation of John 1:11: Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation of John 1:12: And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
Revelation of John 1:13: And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.
Revelation of John 1:14: His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
Revelation of John 1:15: And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
Revelation of John 1:16: And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.
Revelation of John 1:17: And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Revelation of John 1:18: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Now, you may argue to the cows come home that this was rewritten to suit us misguided christians' bias, which is a commonly touted rebuttal (and a weak one at that), but you have no latitude to state that Jesus was not the one described as John's interlocutor, otherwise it opens up a new host of questions of which I will undoubtedly wit the use of the scriptures entangle you. End of discussion. ;)

I wouldn't know anything about it. I'm not a trinitarian coincidentally.
