Hello!!! all
New here. Having many..many..many questions regarding spirituality/god in my mind. Before moving-on with my questions I would like to ask you all that which person on this discussion-board is known to be the most nearest to God or God's knowledge ?

Pardon me for asking all this in a very direct manner.
~Steven.

Rather a strange question to ask.

A lot of people here think they are close to God, and have God's knowledge. But that is a matter of opinion. LOL!

You are better off asking your questions, and reading all the answers coming from different religions, and outlooks.

Hey, S. Some of us here think we are God. Feel free to help yourself.

No one is any closer to God than anyone else. God is equally close to us all, equally available to us all.

And nobody has true knowledge of God, because the ultimate truth of God's nature is infinite: only He completely comprehends Himself, or is capable of doing so.

In my view, everyone has a different idea of what "God" entails; there are many god-concepts, including, but not limited to: Monotheism, polytheism, pantheism, & panentheism. Keeping that in mind, a lot of people have a great knowledge of what they conceive in God. And some of those who don't even believe in God, seem to understand God more than those that do.
If you ask me, it is more seeking God that is important. That nature of God is mostly unknown to we humans.

Welcome to the forums...

...and it's not me. :)

I'm about the most heathenish, unbelieving atheist out there. But, good hunting.

No one's that close or knowledgeable but some are certainly further away than others are. Some are galactic distances away from God.

I am very confident that it is not me :D. Perhaps it is outhouse as he seems to be REALLY religious and "spiritual". :D

I on the other hand am not fond of supernatural claim or religions. I find no use in them and fine the vast majority of them to be extremely old and not worth keeping. Many of their messages boggle my mind and I have been unable to read a single holy text for years. They just do not make any fathomable sense. The notion of a god is nonsensical to the point I find it dangerous.
This word "god" has been around for ages and I think it should be dropped and forgotten. God to me means anything nonsensical and without merit.

I meditate, I pray(to myself), and I even like mythological themes but I by no means does this make me closer to a god.

No fair, I'm at sea level and I worship Poseidon.

Sea level + 1 metre. I dunno if that's actually true, I just like to think myself as out of the reach of Poseidon. Apparently he's mad at atheists for constantly using him as an example of ridiculous human God concepts.

George-ananda is universally regarded as being the most nearest to the perfect understanding. He has clearly won every debate he has engaged in.

Now what do you need to know, my friend?
