Who was Jesus?

godnotgod

Thou art That
Firstly, the name 'Jesus' is corrupted:

"Yeshua (or Yahushua) bar Yosef (Yeshua, son of Joseph) is the original Aramaic name* for Jesus the Nazarene. His parents, siblings, disciples, and followers called him by that name. The name "Jesus" is a misspelling and mispronunciation that resulted from the translation of Yeshua's name after his death, first into the Greek Iesous (pronounced "ee-ay-SUS"), and then from the Greek Iesous into the Latin Iesus. The Latin Iesus ("ee-ay-SUS") wasn't pronounced as "Jesus" with a "J" because the letter "j" didn't come into the English language until the middle of the seventeenth century. The King James Bible, written at the beginning of the seventeenth century, has the name Iesous ("ee-ay-sus"), with no "j." So even in English, no one spoke the name "Jesus" until sometime after the middle of the seventeenth century."

Yeshua before 30 CE

*Even more specifically, the Galilean Aramaic name for Yeshua was 'Yeshu'.

It was Yeshu who was crucified, but his teachings, which were Eastern in origin, where the life-force is the breath, were overwritten by Paul with the pagan teachings of Mithraism, which superimposed the doctrines of blood sacrifice, bodily resurrection, and a virgin birth over them. Yeshu's original teachings did not include any of these. The figure that eventually emerged from this synthesis by Paul is the modern 'Jesus', a myth. It is within this myth that the central core of modern Christianity is found: blood sacrifice, with blood, not breath, as the life-force, a device for sin redemption, not part of Yeshu's teachings. It is this device which Paul cleverly employed to convert tens of thousands of pagans into his new religion. Yeshu's Eastern teachings were far too esoteric for the masses to practice or to understand. It is far more expedient to simply bow down and accept 'Jesus' as one's personal Lord and Savior and one was instantly saved. One did not need to actually KNOW anything; just believe and obey. So yes, there was a man named Yeshu who lived and was crucified, but he himself did not know he was about to be so crucified. HIs teachings had their origins in Buddhism and Hinduism, but he himself was a Nazarene, a sect of the Essenes. Here and there in the scriptures, we find some clue which survived the destruction of his teachings. For example, the parable of the Lilies of the Field, whose ideas and principles in the East would be called 'The Wisdom of Insecurity'. Also, the words from the cross: 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do', is a plea from Yeshu to forgive his transgressors not for their sin, but for their ignorance, the focal point of Buddhism.

Just in your own words, who was Jesus?
I believe Jesus PBUH was a prophet and servant of Allah.
Thats my belief untill a time comes when the Earth and heavens are destroyed with utter destruction, then we are recreated into new forms, also the universe will be reshaped by the Will and Power of Allah.

One of the poles of a big sloping tent called 'humanity' , without whom one side of the tent would have completely collapsed .
In spite of the poles the degradation still continues but becomes gradual due to the support of smaller and smaller poles .

Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, born of a virgin, died on the cross and rose rom the dead just like the Holy scriptures say He did. He now is at the right hand of the Father until the Father makes all of His enemies his footstool.
