Who would you marry?

Kathryn

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
I dont know who I would want to marry, Im just pluggin for a girl who can put up with my sarcasm! and who is christian a course.

also I am hopin for someone is all arty and the like....

but I guess that it, Im totally aiming high :D

No, you are not aiming too high, and don't compromise what's important to you. Your ideas about a mate seem very reasonable to me.

In fact, if both my beautiful daughters weren't already married, I'd be telling them to log on and start talking with you! They're both Christians, and lovely, and tolerant, and sarcastic themselves ;), and artsy to boot!

They're out there - don't compromise. Don't compromise. Don't compromise.

Oh lord, I sure wouldn't want to maintain TWO intimate relationships - one is enough for me!

I figure that since we must balance the convoluted and mired world of American economics (and politics), we ought to be given the chance to balance several relationships. ;)

That is quite a tough decision. I do not really want to be married at this age. There is nobody in my life, currently, that I would want to marry, so I guess I have to pick a famous person. With Gordon Brown taken (just a joke for all you UK residents ;)), I can think of one girl with breathtaking natural beauty and an absolutely adorable mannerism.

Maybe someday plural marriage will be legalized, but I doubt in my lifetime.

Yeah, both polyandry and polygamy. Although, I would have to say it's hard enough to stay married to just one woman these days. I can't even begin to imagine what being married to two or more would be like.

Every relationship is as good or bad as the people in it.

My husband and I met on an online text based web-site. I married him because he told me he already talked to the rabbi, had set the date, found the place and all I had to do was show up and say "yes."

The goodness or the badness of the relationships don't bother me. It's the level of energy I put into it. To distribute all my love and affection into multiple marriage partners would totally exhaust me.

If all marriage relationships could start as simply as this. :)

 To each their own. I don't like living any other way. :)

I disagree with marriage too, generally. I think the key is to get to know someone REALLY REALLY well before you decide to marry them. So you'll know you won't get sick of them after a while.
You can always do it the way my parents did and be together for a few decades before you marry.
