Who would you support to be President of the United States: Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

I still have a problem with why anyone would vote for Trump with his atrocious behavior. It's one thing to be dissatisfied, but it's another to be so reckless to choose someone with his demeanor.

Issues are most important to me than personalities in most cases, and that would be where my first starting point would be normally, but I simply cannot nor would not vote for someone who's a loose canon like Trump, and that would also apply to me if he were a Dem. as I have voted for Pubs and 3rd party candidates for pres on several occasions over the years. [how's that for a run-on sentence-- did I set a new record?]

BTW, I'm hardly a Hillary fan, thus I voted in the primary here for Bernie.

I think there is a good chance that in reality Trump is more liberal than Hillary.

If it was between Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton and chocolate pudding, I'd have to vote for chocolate pudding as it never has let me down. But the candidates we have and all of them, are seriously going to let us down. You are asking me to choose between Tweedledee and Tweedledum.

There are a few other factors to consider.... like the fact that he would make Nixon look like the elder statesman.
This is an interesting comparison because Hillary reminds me of Nixon in their inability to project honesty.
Note that this isn't a big criticism, since I rank honesty beneath the primary traits I consider.
It's just striking how similar they are in their stiffness, shiftiness, & lack of candor.

Perhaps, on the other hand, Nixon could swear like a drunken sailor on any given night. I guess he isn't the perfect corollary to Trump. He could at least keep it under control in public.

I'm not sure there is an example of a former president, or even a former candidate, that compares with Trump.

Corollary?
As in a theorem?

He's unique in my experience.

The longer this goes on the more I am convinced to vote for neither. Now Hillary and Bernie are going at it like Cruz and Trump. I'm really turned off by the childish behavior of both sides st this point.

I'll admit first and foremost I have a bias for Bernie. But I'm wracking my brain to remember a time he as ever stooped so low as to Cruz or Trump level. What has he said that turned you off of him?

Neither. Clearly makes the most sense. Us non-voters still make up the majority.

Both these choices have so much I disagree with that I don't see me ever taking pride in calling them a leader worthy of support. But if somehow I were in a position between the two and had to choose, my A.B.C. philosophy would mean Trump would be my choice. Pretty much without hesitation.

Knowing that some Dems voted for Trump in primaries (to make things presumably easier down the road), does make me want Trump to win based on that alone. But I'm still thinking he won't get the Pub nomination.

Either way, I intend to promote the heck out of the idea of 'vote for Bernie as a third party candidate.' Knowing full well it will split the vote on Dem side. Turn about is fair play. And if Bernie should win as 3rd party, then it would fit within my A.B.C. philosophy. There's no downside to advocating for people to vote for Bernie, even if he doesn't get the Dem nomination. I would like to see more on the right use this tactic.

I'm not turned off Bernie. Even though I disagree on certain points with him he is in my opinion, a man of class and principal, which is more than I can say for the other 3 contenders. My comment was more in reference to the fact that the more of a threat to Hillary's dominance he becomes , the nastier their debates are getting. The place I disagree with him is his saying that taxes will go up for everyone. I'm already paying more than I can afford in taxes. Hopefully I misunderstood his point. Regardless though, I still think he is an honorable man.

Ah yeah. Hillary is slinging some ****.

On his point the only time I've ever heard him say that taxes go up on middle class citizens is to pay for universal healthcare. On average we will pay less overall. You pay 100 bucks more a month for taxes but 200 less on health insurance. Net loss of total cost out of an average person's monthly budget.
