Who would you support to be President of the United States: Donald Trump or Hilary Clinton?

Please explain your answer.
Bernie Sanders is the only person I think I will vote for. Between Hillary and Trump I probably will just waste my vote in silent protest on a 3rd party candidate. I suppose it has some tiny smidgen of possibility that Trump could win my vote in the general if he basically takes back everything he said in the primary and starts spouting off like he did before he ran for office about single payer healthcare systems, ending the conflicts in the middle east, overturning citizens united, ect. All are things he supported in the past. Honestly I think Trump and Sanders are probably the two most similar candidates historically (though Trump is only what he has voiced rather than done because he isn't a politician). However that is only if Trump as we know him is shown to be an act.

This is why Trump is so hated by the GOP. He is, in many ways, more of a liberal Democrat than Hillary.

Well it is sort of like saying, "Do you support no prisoners taken?"...

In normal conditions, no, we should have a program to take prisoners if this was your run of the mill war.

But let us say, insect like Martians are invading and sucking people's blood out, and can asexually reproduce more insect-aliens every 21 day cycle from their own sweat even in a holding cell?

Then I probably would support a take no prisoners policy.

In these times, which are not normal in any measure, in crisis, I support Trump. It isn't about being safe.

He would be better off if he'd invested his inheritance, read the attached article...

Hardly a resounding success.
Invested everything? Hindsight is 20/20, you can't predict how the stocks would go in that situation don't be silly, who's gonna invest everything in the S&P? Let's be serious. He raised his money the old fashioned way primarily through real estate and real tangible investments, and he's pretty darn successful in relation to that.

Hardly a resounding success.
If only he could've seen into the future to know which investment would pay off the best.
But there's one small mitigating factor.....
Trump's net worth was reduced by his taking money from the income stream for a lifetime of personal expenses.

Btw, with the benefit of hindsight, I would'a stayed out of real estate too.

What exactly is this supposed to show us?

Most of these bills are formed in a committee and brought forward by one, or more.

Trump obviously has no bills.

I Goggled Ted Cruse and could only find bills sponsored, or introduced by, - not authored by.

Cruz has sponsored only one bill that was passed by the House and Senate and signed into law by President Obama.

There were 74 bills that became law that Clinton co-sponsored.

It shows minimal easily measured achievement.
Co-sponsoring doesn't amount to much.
It's true that Trump has an even less impressive record in government.

Of course Trump has none, - he isn't a politician and shouldn't be president.

You are leaving out Cruse.

Clinton - 74 - sponsored bills that have become law, - and 3 authored.

Cruse - 01 - sponsored bill that became law.

To be honest I'd prefer voting for a 3rd party, sadly voting for your conscious means nothing in a 2-party system, (I'd rather stay home than vote for either Clinton or Trump).

At the moment, I plan to vote for Trump (if he gets the nomination).
Desperate times require extraordinary measures.
And the virulent bi-partisan hatred towards him is inspiring.

I'm fairly conservative fiscally and socially liberal. I'd sacrifice severely in support of either candidate.

I suppose I'd choose Hillary over Donald if forced to choose. She's not at all what I feel is good for our country, but, I trust her support of women's rights above that of the Donald. Ask me tomorrow and I might say the opposite.

Contingent upon which topics are weighing heaviest on my mind on the day to day.

I won't be voting for either.

It's true, Trump is definitely the, "oh screw it" candidate of choice. We've tried the right and tried the left, lets give batpoop crazy a try!
