Are you capable of 'peaceful dialogue'?
no one wants to talk to you.
Now yer talk'n!I still like bacon
Your sarcasm is noted and appreciated. Why those conceited twats, thinking they know it all. Thank God atheists never have such an inflated opinion of their intellect.
Some responses by atheists to this question have been to the effect that they find religion interesting or that they wish to educate those they find to be so ignorant. One came closer to the truth about why atheists come to religious/religion forums, and that is for political reasons. There is the desire among atheists to silence religious thought as it pertains to moral and political issues through the use of mockery and ridicule. Reason never really enters the discussion except in the form of mockery or ridicule. The thing about reason is that there must be information provided on which to apply reason and there is no common ground from which atheists and theists to reason together.
Atheists require that reason can only be from the empirical. Never mind the fact that most atheists are relying on the empiricism of some few others, thus exercising 'faith' in someone else's work. Theists on the other hand can rely on empirical evidence but are not restricted by it. Theists, too rely on the empirical evidence of others. These others are called prophets who claim to have empirically witnessed either evidence of God or God Himself and have written this information down in the form of scripture. But more than that, theists rely on personal spiritual confirmation through humble prayer that what the prophets have said is true. This thing about being in tune with the spirit is something that is totally alien to atheists. This is what Christ meant when He said that He was the light that shined in darkness and the darkness comprehended Him not.
The problem for the theist is in the correlation of scientific evidence and theological evidence. This is manifestly difficult, but where it can be done, it is done. All theists do not reject the evidence of science except where correlations cannot be made due to a lack compatible information. Here is the rub: The theist will give preference to his faith, whereas, the atheist will give preference to his. For the theist, this lack of compatible information signals the need to hold such things in suspense until further information is provided. Day to day living goes on and is not necessarily dependent on some such issues. Herein lies the second rub: The theist recognizes the natural law which dictates that certain behaviors are detrimental to a harmonious society's perpetuation. Atheists, on the other hand, reject the notion of natural law itself as well as its supports in scripture and promote the idea that no behaviors (or very few of them) are inherently evil or wrong. This is the source of the real reason atheists come in religious forums; to push their ideas for a different moral code which the theists will inevitably find as detrimental to society.

To annoy religionists?
To become religionists?
Are you saying all atheists have a political agenda? We don't.One came closer to the truth about why atheists come to religious/religion forums, and that is for political reasons. There's no need for faith in atheism. We don't need to be scientists to not believe or believe what we do.Atheists require that reason can only be from the empirical. "Some" of us are pretty much anything that people can be, I suppose.Evils actually exist everywhere, i don't mean that all atheists are evils but some of them are.
Good thing you have an emoticon there.Because atheism is also a religion, its a religion with one certain rule, "there is no rule."
But that's not a religion.Because atheism is also a religion, its a religion with one certain rule, "there is no rule."
Because atheism is also a religion,
More people who claim to be religious are more 'evil' than atheists. And btw, define evil and how it manifests scientifically, making sure you differentiate that from people simply making extremely bad choices.Evils actually exist everywhere, i don't mean that all atheists are evils but some of them are.
