What a generalized and stupid thing to say. Why don't you name a pet after their prophet in order to protest them.
He can't do that, it would be offensive to the Muslims.

Really agree with this part of terry's post...
...that bit about works, though, not so good....
I, once again, agree with Mr. Peanut in regards to works.

Televangelists reach absurd amounts of donations from spreading the Gospel to recipients like your roommate. Pyramid donation/selling?

You must look for the Starvin' Marvin episode, earlier seasons. It shows how christian missioanries only help if your christian... Its too funny, but its true.
I still don't really understand the difference since evangelising seems to be at the forefront of evangelization. Sorry if I seem to be being obtuse but its a distinction I've heard before but never properly understood.Luke said:Okay. Because, to me. evangelists refers to those travelling people, wholesome or not, who make evangelism they're ministry.
And evangelicals, once again to me, means anyone who believes in evangelization.
Actually, upon closer reading the OP is incorrect. It's just not evangelicals who hold that opinion. So the OP misses the mark.
Maybe she's genuinely concerned, *******.
indeed it may not just be that the Evangelicals hold that opinion, but my beef is with them, those who stand around at the malls and parks with tripods and little cards that have "IQ tests" to trick you into actually wanting to talk to them.
Mad Hatter, I don't think it's just the evangelicals who are worried about you. I've been seriously concerned about you since the first day you posted here.I had someone tell me when i was trying to come home from gamestop, that if Mormons are right then that means she's going to go to heaven anwyays, but if we are wrong then we are going to hell because that woudl make her right. and then she called out as i left chuckling to myself "I'm concerned for you!"
my question why would she be concerned for me? Mormons are by far the most active in doing good for people and believing in Jesus Christ out of probably anyone who is not a zealot.
I mean think about it, why woudl she be concerned for me? according to the envangelists doctrines we woudl go to heaven as well, we meet all the neccisary requirements and then some.

How do you feel about the door-to-door LDS missionaries?
Of course he would say, the LDS missionaries aren't 'tricking' anyone with their tactics.
