What are they saved from? How were they saved? when were they saved?
Does LDS theology support this? They maybe confused. Is the God they claim to be reconciled to based soley on the teachings of the apostles and prophets (the bible).

Yes, LDS theology supports it.

Saved from eternal suffering for our own sins, through the atonement of Jesus Christ, as long as we repent of our sins and do our best to be like him.

We've always been saved, unless we don't repent, if we don't fix our mistakes and turn completely away from all forms of sin, we can not partake of salvation through our great mediator Jesus Christ.

The reason we don't prostelyze to people on the street corner like is ee some evangelists do, is because if you don't accept it now, you'll have the chance in the afterlife to accept it, and if you die before being baptized, we'll just baptize you by proxy anyways. (hehe)

And no, we do not believe soely in the teachings of the Apostles from the bible. we believe the fulness of Christ's true and everlasting gospel is contained within the Book of Mormon.

What are they saved from?
From the permanance of death and from eternal separation from God.

How were they saved?
They are justified through the Atonement of Jesus Christ, and sanctified by their obedience to His word.

when were they saved?
They were given the promise of salvation when they entered into a covenant relationship with their Savior at baptism. They will see the fulfillment of that promise if they endure to the end.

Does LDS theology support this?
Support what? What I've just said? Yes. Otherwise, I wouldn't have said it.

They maybe confused.
I'm sure some of them are.

The God they claim to be reconciled to is the God spoken of by the Apostles and Prophets of the Bible, as well as by living Apostles and Prophets.

“I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.”

Hi!

It was my privilege to attend one of the best sermons on salvation last Sunday I have ever heard. The Minister made the remarkable comment that many who believe Jesus died and rose again and all the doctrines of the Bible, from many denominations, will go to Hell. After all we know the Devils believe and tremble. To believe is one thing, one may believe it and be active in church and such and still be lost for lack of the one crucial element. As Paul called it the simplicity of Christ, which is simple, complete trust in Christ and nothing else, nothing more, nothing less, than Jesus' blood and righteousness.

But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

The illustration used was a man getting a flight to Houston, believing the pilot, mechanic, etc and that the plane would get him there, but never commiting himself by actually boarding the plane. He had a ticket, flight schedule, did all the things one does who is taking a flight, except for the one crucial element. Many who seem so religious and active and etc. are missing this one crucial element of simply trusting Christ for the salvation of their souls, and nothing else.

Cheers!

Isn't that the flight that crashed into Lake Travis? How lucky can a guy get! :D

According to scriptures, there will be a LOT of surprises on the last day. Many who think they are saved will be left as well as a number who thought they were lost will be saved. The difference? "Whatever you did, to the least of these my brothers, you did also to me."
