Why Are You Wrong?

"Worldview" was a German word. Maybe it even helped aid the NAZI's in considering all Jews the same... One type of broadbrushing for another.

A terrible habit.

Does your worldview go with science. In that case there are better chances that your worldview is correct. Otherwise it is false. The more it differs from science, the more it is without truth.
Well, I just ate up my lunch time at work typing this. :D
Don't (ever) do that. Having the lunch is more important than having a worldview.

Can a person have 25 worldviews? For 25 different topics?

Or are we allowed only 1..?

I think your worldview is wrong.

Is your worldview then wrong?

Am I wrong?

Why?

Whose worldview is correct?

Why?

Now that that’s settled, what have we accomplished?

OK.....
I could be wrong.
Hell...... I probably am wrong. OK?
But I'm happy. I do my 'thing', trawling through the gospels, reading through archaeology and historical reviews.... blah blah....... and.......... what for? What do I do that for?

Yes......... I'm wrong because it doesn't matter..... but somehow, I'm happy when I have my 30 minutes with 'historical Jesus'.

Quite Nuts....... must be. Happy, and Nuts. :)

That's the trick. I use my first break to shove food down my mouth as fast as I can, so my lunch and my last break are free to mess around on forums without any worries whatsoever. :D

Your is correct, mine is correct. They may not agree on some aspects but yours works for you, mine works for me.

So we have accomplished that we are both correct some of the time

We have a saying in Hindi:
"Bookhe bhajan na hoye Gopala, lele apni kanthi mala."
(O Gopala (Krishna), I can't pray with an empty stomach, you can take back your necklace (which I wear in your honor) and the rosary)
Vaishanava Hindus (worshipers of Lord Vishnu) many a times wear this. Kanthi, Mala

Settled?

Scuttled is the word. You've just pulled the rug out from under RF!

I think your worldview is wrong.
Yeah, I get that a lot.
Is your worldview then wrong?
No, until I know better.
Am I wrong?
I don't know you well enough to be the judge of that.
Because I don't know.
Whose worldview is correct?
Solipsistically speaking, mine and those with similar opinions. Holistically speaking, the one of the Most High.
Because mine works for me. And my God is always right.
Now that that’s settled, what have we accomplished?
We have used this forum in a way it is designed for.

I appreciate this philosophy. Before we can do the things that are important in life, we have to take care of ourselves first. A pillar can't support the weight of a temple if it's cracked and decaying.

I think your worldview is wrong.
Doesn't bother me

Is your worldview then wrong?
In your opinion, yes. But in mine, no

Am I wrong?
To me you are, yes. But to you you are correct.

Because right and wrong are subjective so are therefore different to different people

You are right for you and I am right for me

Whose worldview is correct?
Mine :D

Because it makes the most sense, therefore it is the best world view

Now that that’s settled, what have we accomplished?
I don't know... but I can't help but feel somewhat enlightened

Fine.

Is your worldview then wrong?
No.

Am I wrong?

I'm unable to decide if you mean is your worldview wrong or is your opinion of my worldview wrong. My answer to both is no.

A worldview develops from one's overall life experiences, so is personal, unique and subjective.

Whose worldview is correct?

Based on my previous answer: "Correct" for both individuals, but that is not really an appropriate word.

Because a world view develops from one's overall life experiences, so is personal, unique and subjective.

I've managed to create this post, admittedly a very tiny accomplishment. You will have to decide what, if anything, you have accomplished.

What if someone never thought of something, and another person introduces a thought to him too and now that person accepts or believes that newly introduced thought?
Yes, that's what we have on this planet a lot of the time. Often with twins, only one of them does most of the talking. Many people need a boss in order to work. Lots of examples of sheep mentality.

I think it's conditioned for the most part. Parents who speak for their children are doing that child a huge disfavor.
