Why didn't the Obama administration veto the recent UN resolution on Israel

It seems that you reprised their history as martyrs and victims for some purpose.?
You demonised western Liberals as being to blame in some way for calling out Israel's current actions.
Jews are no more and no less evil than any other people.
All people and states are judged on their actions.
Neither history, religion nor race is part of that equation.
In the same way a friend who steals or murders is still a criminal.

I don't think I assigned any blame. Just an observation of the parallels of others blaming Jews for their problems. I understand there is a difference between Jews and a Jewish state. I just get the sense that many people only bring this up to attempt to highlight that it's not about Jews.

Now, it is important to separate Jews from the Jewish state, but I think many westerners are unaware that they're not doing this.

But, beyond that, just having a realistic understanding and context of Israel having a siege mentality. Whatever the western societal and cultural perspective, Israel has never been out of a siege state. They're surrounded by whole populations who want to eradicate them. There's no reasonable indication that this had ever not been the case.

I think westerners, especially of the liberal persuasion, have an increasingly hard time of even comprehending, let alone acknowledging.

Any compromise or capitulation on Israel's end over the last two decades hasn't resulted in a like result. And, increasingly, with changes in western perceptions and lack of support, they, understandably, feel forced to act in their own self interest

At the end of the day, if people are going to see Israel as some kind of evil oppressor, then there's no way to change that perspective. However, they need to deal with the ever-present reality of being surrounded by masses who want them gone and have never shown any serious willingness to rationally and fairly co-exist.

It's a nice philosophical exercise for people not involved to express their moral superiority, but that isn't a relevant factor to people who have to deal with the constant reality of being surrounded by a much larger population of people who openly express their desire that you shouldn't exist.

You are judged on your expressed opinions as we all are.
And what are people like me like?

Do you always deny your opinions? or is this a special Christmas edition of you speaking?
Why do you suppose any one has been following your posts in other threads?
Why would they?

You make no sense. Because I do not try to convince you does not mean I deny my understanding.

If you can't see it with your own eyes you surely won't see it with mine.

They say they were. Amazingly they found all their passports in the 9/11 debris. Yes, the fires were hot enough to melt steel but not passports?

They didn't identify them by their passports.
What garbage are you listening to? They have CCTV of them at the airport, they have check in details, etc., etc.

Roughly translated mean, "I do not have any evidence other than what Glenn Beck and the RW media spouts out daily"
No, I spotted Glenn Beck immediately while all the repubs were worshipping him and now regretting it.

No, it was on the news. Maybe they changed their rediculous story but I clearly remember them saying they found their passports in the debris.

The proof is the molten steel in the debris. Most people I ask remember it. It defies the laws of physics that the molten steel could have been there, from the plane explosion or office fires. Demolition explosives explains it though.

You are a Lumper, you have to lump everybody into one group or another. Someone hates transgendered bathrooms imposed on school children and you got to lump them, that they hate all liberals and everything liberal, therefore must be in the republican lump.

I think the settlements are a recognizeably realistic strategy that have an achievable goal of growth and civilization. As the border grows there is an effect that talking does not have, and it lets other countries know that, yes, Israel will still take some or all of your land if you attack.
