You mean scientist are SURE that there will never be end to learning ? :)

Yes. And not just scientists. Every human that can think rationally, realises that.
You don't?

Where are you trying to go with this?

"gotcha" ??? :D
You really made me laugh too much! :D

Groovy. Now make your actual point already.
Where are you trying to go with this?

Is God sitting there at the end ?
or, there's some reason else which force them to do so ? :)

If you read up on Buddhist myths and lengends, you'd know exactly why. There's this legend of how a monkey has a bet with Buddha to test his power. If the monkey wins, I think he gets to run things or something? Anyway, Buddha tells him that he only has to leave his hand to win. The monkey is hardcore though, and tries to get to the end of the universe. There he sees a bunch of pillars. About four, I think. He writes his name on these, and also urinates on them or something. He comes back to Buddha who declares that he's never left his hand. The monkey is like "Yeah... I thought you'd do that, so I went to the ends of the universe." The Buddha lifts his fingers upright so the writing can clearly be seen ( and the urine smelled).

These scientists are hoping that having seen the entire universe, they can say there is no God, that they've looked everywhere. But they're fools, because God made the universe and God is the universe. Nothing can be created that isn't a part of the creator, this goes for human creations as well, when you bake a cake, it has your unique stamp on it.

As any astronomer knows there is a hand of God that can be seen by telescope.

Scientists go, or look into the sky, search galaxies over galaxies, black matter etc. and try to find the end. why so ?
Why they are looking at distant objects in space ?

It's called knowledge.

That's something that many people find worth pursuing.

Those who don't often mock those who do to hide in the comfort of their own ignorance.

That's kinda knowledge which will ever remain incomplete. And they knew this vey well.

To learn about the universe. It's the same reason scientists study anything.

If scientists are anything like me, they're probably looking for their car keys.

I really hope they're not like me... It'd be cheaper to just get a new set from the manufacturer...

Current model ?

Wait wait wait..

What lead to create this model ? an accident ?

We look at things and attempt to understand them. We create theoretical models to help us in these explanations and then test them to see if they work in new situations. Those that continue to work are adopted and those that do not are modified or discarded.

Even an owl do the same thing during night. what's the difference ? :)

An owl does not use tools to extend their natural abilities, and they don't appear to try to understand the properties of stars or other things.

Whatever he do. He tries his level best.

If an owl’s knowledge is incomplete, so as the human’s. Both have incomplete knowledge. What’s the difference?

The degree. We are all ignorant to some extent. But that doesn't mean we don't know anything. And, some of us have a goal to learn more.

Skanky Old Mongrel!
astronomy sees things as they were, the earlier universe, not the end.
At last!
I thought that somebody would explain that sooner than post 19! :)

Astronomers aren't looking for the end of the Universe because it hasn't reached there yet.....
Astonomers are looking as far back as they can to see as close as they can to the BEGINNING OF THE UNIVERSE!

@chinu ..... you've got it the wrong way round. :)
