Why do you think it's wrong for someone else to be gay?

It hasn't really been established that is happening. Yeah, porn is more widely available today but we still had magazines, videos and took and swapped nudes on Polaroids.
What is clearly different today is boys and men are expected to keep their hands to themselves, domestic rape is a crime, boys will be boys isn't being as tolerated as ana excuse for poor behaviors amd there's more awareness of sexual assault and big name hot shots getting taken down for their sexual misdeeds.
But who will have a problem with porn? It's probably going to be those who hold women accountable for their own rape amd promote the idea a woman in a position of authority got their by sleeping around. And things like that are soietal and systemic.
But it's beginning to change so we must ask is there really an increase in sexual assault and other inappropriate behaviors due to the proliferation of free online porn. You haven't shown it is.
But even if MeToo didn't exist, we still must have evidence for your claims, not speculations. But you've provided nothing beyond the evidence of satanic cults during the Satanic Panic or the belief a person who wears jelly wrist bracelets will do a certain sex act based on its color if you rip it off. The only evidence was their existencr was a fad like the slap bracelets when I was a kid.

Rising numbers of children being involved is a fact, so that is one of the worries, and is rather obviously related to the free availability of porn, given most will not be and never would be buying such.

Would you see it as being a good thing for more people being more into aggressive and extreme porn - given that is what some of the articles seem to say is what is happening.

I pointed to many articles where they do think there is a problem, and linked to the genre types and free availability of porn.

I’m not the one who has a problem with sex between consenting adults. I’m just saying I understand why there are people who do have a problem with it in many cases. When people put their religious beliefs above their own life, above their families lives, above the law of the land, do you really think they’re gonna make an exception for what you subjectively call “oppression and discrimination”? I don’t think so.

It's not about getting over themselves, it's about believing what is written down on paper. Now of course they will often pick and choose which parts of paper they seem to wanna focus on, and which parts they kinda look past, I used to be Christian; I know how a lot of them think.

I used to be one to. They can get over themselves, learn to share society, and quit expecting others to cater to tox8c, discriminatory beliefs (sort of like was done when it came to ending racial segregation and allowing interacial coupling).

I once thought it was wrong for someone to be gay. She was cute and I thought we were vibing, so it pissed me off when I was told by a mate that she was a lesbian and I was barking up the wrong tree.

So I friend zoned myself for the night. Turned out she was straight, and my mate was completely wrong. Thanks mate.
